Ok, so they don't have the elequence of Shakespere, the wit of Wilde or the commedic talent of Billy Connolly, but they don't need it. Clowning is the most basic form of light-hearted entertainment and the foundation of all comedy. These guys are aimed at kids, and in an age where any piece of low budget, poorly drawn animation can get on TV, they should be saluted for stickng around, not resting on their lorells and teaching kids the value of laughter. In fact, as an adult, I find them staggeringly hilarious because they're not at all funny, which is what clowning is. Ok so they look like escaped lunatics and life time members of Souness's Tash's fan club, but I applaud them for lasting longer than any other kids TV show. Brilliant.
