That title still gets to me, "The Peoples Club" like it is some badge of homour to support an appalling side and forgive their abject rankness because they are "The Peoples".
This only prooves two things, either "The People" are stupid....or as previously posted the title "Peoples Club" is a honorific like "The Special" Olympics.

Ginger: "The People Hair"
Low: "The Peoples Intelligence"

In a nutshell dress your failure up in some militant cumminist sounding rally cry title all you want, but deep down ayt some point you will have to realise that "The People" support a
team, with a stadium.So carry on being "The Peoples Club" clutch that withered title to your chest and hope that it keeps you warm....we will sticl to simply being called "Liverpool Football Club"....The EUROPEAN CHAMPIONS.
