Great result Sabre, Depor are a decent side if a bit inconsistent.

Yes mates, important victory. I think we won't be relegated. But still we make mistakes, and we were just lucky the low form of Tristan, who doesn't seem to care about football any more. What a waste of player.

Gonzalez is advancing, it was quite a surprise to me that he's given already the responability of taking the corners and some fouls. That means he has que skill to do it, and also that he's earned the confidence in the dressroom, good sign.

Our goal was a trained goal. The scorer admitted that they had seen videos of Depor and they had a gap just there when they defend the corners. Good news is that Gonzalez was able to put it there well, and that means 2 points more.

He had 65 minutes, which is an advancement comparing to the 30 mins he was averaging. His muscles seem to start to respond well to hard training. Thumbs up.

What I still haven't seen from him is decent crosses while running, and long shots, but I think we're seeing a positive evolution here.

And on saturday, Real Sociedad - Barcelona. I think one of the weak points of Barcelona is Oleguer. Barcelona plays a lot, but lets playing too, so I think Gonzalez might be important.

Made a point of watching the match and Gonzalez had a good match till being subbed, hit a superb shot that hit the post from deep against Barcelona. The lad looks like a talent with pace and importantly ball control when i have watched him play for RS on the wing this year (the few times they have been on sky). Tracked back well to boot. Will certainly improve the options on our left when he finally gets to LFC.

Yes he was MoM of our team, IMHO. He's progressing, and in that shot at min 25 was really unlucky not to have scored.

He recovered some balls and made good runs with his pace. He still hasn't crossed well while running, but he crosses well when the ball is stopped or in set pieces. He is getting better in all sense, physical too.

Barcelona players like Oleguer should have seen a card before they did, as he received no less than 6 fouls in his runs in the first part of the game.

I was too gutted to write about the game, we're only a point over relegation, and I'm gutted about it. I still think that we'll avoid relegation (we have been in similar situations, and haven't been in segunda for 40 years) but I'm really concerned.

I'll watch him every week in Anoeta. This town is small, so I'll know if he goes out at nights.

He's already here. Looks like he has been mate of Etxarri or scouter for a long time :D

He has said to be happy there (he would have said the same in La Coruña) and stated that he'll say more things once he passes the medical test, which will happen this morning.

Expect a weekly report everytime he plays. Press here also covers trainings, so I'll tell you as well how hard he trains.

Top lad,cheers sabre.

I saw gonzalez against Barcelona I was fairly impressed,he seems to have great first touch, good on the ball, good passer and he had a fantastic strike in that game from around 25 yards that hit the post.

Help sabre was that a one off game or has he been doing that all season?

I think he's having very few minutes, to be honest , haven't seen him even mentioned. Who's doing a decent season with celta de Vigo is Nuñez, though...

His physical form wasn't as good as we expected, he's been having muscle troubles in the leg he had injured injured . Note that it was a Knee injury, the knee was ok, but his muscles were "overcharging" due to the inactivity. So he started playing 30 minutes, and he lacked match fitness, but we all saw some details. I think his form is just growing, against Barcelona he started to ask the ball to the mates, he's taking many of the fouls and corners (and that means personality in the dressroom) and his play is improving. I think that in one month we are going to talk about a new hit in the liga.

What's more, I think that he's strong where Kewell is weak, and viceversa, so we have two different players for next year, depending on the game we're facing. It looks a good signing for Liverpool so far, but as I say, he's improving and we haven't seen his best.

I'm not sure if this happens also in England, or is a matter that we Spaniards are a mixture of races, but many children are very redhair or  blond like me when we have a few years, and then we have darker hair when we grow up. Alonso was one of those, he seemed an irish lad at that age
