:O Wow, thats fast.

I have heard of these new cards but like the Nvidia Quattro, they are work station cards for CAD and for games developers, and would be prohibitively expensive for home users. Also, I'm not sure what the story is with drivers and whether they use the same drivers ATI releases for its desktop cards.

ATI released another great card recently, the X1900XTX, which is about 20% faster than mine and is the current daddy. There are huge strides being made at the moment.

Well I'm guessing that's a no then.

I had heard that an anonymous developer was doing a sequal game ver much in the style of Far Cry, but set in an alien jungle where Humans were hunting a Predator. If it's true, then it would be a PC game that I might have to go for.

Isn't that just the plot of the Far Cry:Crysis game? An elite marine squad sent to investigate an alien landing?

Just found this rather interesting little picture on the net. It was branded a fake and appeared originally before the Rev or it's controller had been revealled. But word coming out of Japan this morning is that at somepoint today Iwata-san will be revealing some new feature of the Rev and rumour has it that another new controller will appear. I'll keep you posted if I hear (though at the moment I think it's B0ll0x) anything.

I got Oblivion on Friday and its an amazing game! Its absolutely huge, with countless missions to attend to.

Its got absolutely incredible graphics but it doesn't run that well even on my high end system. It will run perfectly if you turn some of the details down, and it won't be at its best until its played on computers a year from now.

The Xbox360 version is supposedly far more stable than the PC version, although the PC version will settle down when a patch is released and ATI and Nvidia release new drivers to give better performance.

Yeh don't run smooth sometimes for me either JBG. It's fine in cities and dungeons but as soon as i start to run around the forests i take a big performance hit. It is an amazing game with beautiful graphics and awesome gameplay though. I have just been ignoring the main story for a while and doing some missions. I'm a fairly high rank in the arena which is like the colliseum.

And the xbox 360 version is actually worse than the pc version. If you have a geforce 6800 card or higher the pc version is superior graphics wise. But thats not why its better. I keep hearing from all the xbox 360 players that the load times for them are far too long. In the Imperial city it can sometimes take up to a minute for some areas to load. I don't know about you but the most an area has taken for me is a few seconds.

Right i'm gonna have to get back to it. Day off work and i feel like being a lazy bugger.
