lads its a fans forum, and a forum is generated to cause a debate it wud be a sh*t forum if ebveryone agreed all the time! but lets just get on with the chat and lose the petty arguments, its bad enough seeing overpaid footballers whinging about petty things on the pitch without fans doin it off the pitch!

anyways I think momo had a brilliant game today, gave alonso the freedom to spread the passes around the pitch, they remind me of viera and petit in their prime! and could turn out to be a brilliant partnership for years to come!

Phil I think Stu's point is that you've had rows before so stop telling him off for having one of his own (as an edit I don't think you were telling him off BTW. A little bit of over-sensitivity on his part there). You are one of the most respected and knowledgeable people on the forum and everybody knows it, including Stu and nobody on here would get involved in discussing medical conditions without being told to get fecked and sharpish by me.
Stu was wrong to call you a C..., and he should apologize but he didn't mean anything about anything else, of that I'm certain. Best thing is, PM each other and get it sorted because we don't need the better and more knowledgeable people having a barney.

Asking to get people banned is pathetic, it isn't even anything to do with you

Clearly it was a misunderstanding between the 2 of them

stu_the_red wrote:Why the fuck should i say something that isn't true to please the majority of clueless bastards who don't know there :censored: from there elbow when it comes to football on a fucking internet forum?

In 5 years time, i'll be proven right and you'll all be telling me i guessed, then after that, i'll say it again after another player and you'll again start slating me.

I've been slated in the past for saying Fowler was still a good player.

Carragher was an oustanding defender and very good player.

Finnan was good enough to play for Liverpool but lacked confidence.

Hyypia wasn't past it.

Baros wasn't good enough.

Ashton would make a top quality premiership player.

Jermaine Defoe would become an excellent player.

Robbie Keane was good enough to play in the premier league.

Kevin Phillips would score goals in the premier league.

I've heard it all before, i've seen it millions of times. If you could make great players out of :censored: everyone would do it.

Akinbiyi, strong as :censored:, great pace, aggressive and has bottle. All he needs is a bit of game intelligence and a good first touch... So why hasn't he become a world class player? He's got the base attributes...

You either have it, or you don't. You can't make diamonds from :censored:. Anyone who knows the sport will back that up. I'm actually suprised that Mick hasn't pointed this out in the past as he's one of the few on here with a clue.

At at the end of it all, i'll be proven right, yet next time, you'll still tell me i don't know what i'm talking about when i clearly do. So shove your "opinions" up your :censored:.

As another board member just said swallow your pride, admit your mistakes and move on.

Sissoko is here to stay. I must say your attitude towards the game and the club is sometimes a bit pathetic. You want Sissoko to spend a couple of years with the reserves while you at the same time praise guys like Barton, Bullard and Nolan!!!! And you want us to sign them and relegate Sissoko to the reserves!!!!!

Signing mediocre players, and placing world class talents alongside Mellor and Raven is the trademark of a fool.

You are playing a losing game man and you should try to end it as soon as possible. Just eat your humble pie and move on.
If football is banned in heaven. I'd rather go to hell.

The problem is stu is that you think your opinions are gospel. You come on here telling not expressing thoughts/opinions. Its just plain arrogant and in the end makes you look like an idiot.

You have some good points to make but if someone disagrees with you, you make it into a full blown war because in your opinion your always right and could never be wrong.

you need to learn some social skills mate

So you think we can win the league by fielding 11 ten-year-olds?  ???

Where did i say that?

They don't change there abilities as they grow older.
