or how about a bit of:

But how can we forget:

1986 FA Cup Final

And surely we can't forget:

1989 FA Cup Final

By the way i went to the '86 cup final with my dad, an Evertonian.
It was a great day (obviously) but I agree that I am often shocked at the level of hatred aimed at Everton fans on these boards, as in my family there is only friendly rivalry and banter. O.K. we don't live in Liverpool anymore but lots of our relatives do. Me and my bro used to walk round the city me in red and he in blue. Is it not still like that on Merseyside? Can you really hate your family and friends that much over which team they support.
I personally do what I have always done, laugh at and wind up my Evertonian relatives but I save my venom for Man U and a far less honourable team dressed in blue! Let's not forget most of our great players were once Evertonians. They just saw the light!

I wont go for a 7-0 victory, I was going to predict that against Birmingham
Im going to say 1-0 with a Steven Gerrard strike in the 23rd minute :)

Blue Kipper is still in overdrive.

Quote:

"Are you having a grin? alonso is sh#te he is consistantly sh#te he has a good pass on him he is not worth close to 10 million you 2 must be kopites."

Quote:

"Jesus Christ. Talk about boll#cks - if he was sh#t would he be a regular for Spain when they have Baraja, Albelda, Fabregas, Xavi to choose from in his position? Would Real Madrid want him for stupid money? Would he be voted as their player of the year after Gerrard and Carragher (just) despite missing 4 months of the season? f**k me, is it illegal to have an objective view on someone just because he plays for your rivals? We going to say that Gerrard is sh#t next and that we'd rather have Cahill? Grow the f**k up."

Quote:

Give it a rest with the kopite bollox - as Silvio Dante says there is nothing wrong with being objective about a rival team's players. And your assessment suggests that it is you who is "having a grin".

Quote:

Alonso is class, only a fool would deny that.

He may not be as classy, stylish or attacking as Arteta, but his passing is one of the best and very effective.
