lol, click the edit button, it has become my friend recently.

Sorry if this is off topic but im just watching the Man City vs West Ham match and Stuart Pearce is like the best manager in the world cos of his passion. They should put player cam on him. Benitez is quite entertaining too with his hand signals, he should be a baseball coach in his spare time.

yeah. COME ON LIVERPOOL ARRRRGHAA.

how much did your ticket cost? i ask because brum had the cheek to charge lfc fans £42 for the league game down there earlier in the season :veryangry

p.s. less of the text speak. it gets on everyone's t#ts.

Yep £42. me and bro went.

Bro is going tomorrow and it was £25. Joke isnt it how they can justify charging £42 then £25

OK Birmingham... on paper it looks like a foregone conclusion.

At our place we dominated with 24 shots to 3 and 67% of possession thanks to Johnson's sending off for his rash tackle on Agger. Gerrard scored from a neat Morientes pullback while Fowler scored a wonderful overhead kick only for it to be ruled offside. Just when it looked all over for Brum, Alonso scored at the wrong end after a chested back pass wrong footed Pepe with both players unable to recover before the ball crossed the line..

It was another own goal at St Andrews which prevented us from taking all three points earlier in the season too. This time Warnock was unlucky attempting to cut off a cross from Julian Gray, inadvertantly heading the ball in to his own net. The other Liverpool players to get on the scorescheet were Garcia with a low left footed drive from a Gerrard assist and Cisse who converted a penalty after Carraghers goal bound header was hand-balled on the line by Kilkenny.  This was Liverpool's 5th league game of the season and depsite being slow out of the blocks at the beginning of the season we still bossed the game with 14 shots to 4 and 58% of posession.  Maik Taylor was excellent in both games easily securing the Brum MOM awards.

So five of our players have managed to get on the score sheet against Brum this season and in all seriousness there's no reason to think that we couldn't get the same tonight but with all goals at the right end this time.  Brum have conceded 41 goals this season and only won 4 games at home. They have a worse defensive record than both Newcastle and Fulham and are seriously struggling with the threat of relegation having been in or below 18th spot since the 23rd of October.

I really can't see them putting in a 'cup tie' performance and with us playing with some confidence having scored 8 goals in two games I'm going to predict a 3-0 win.

Birmingham are the only premierleague club we haven't beaten under rafa..... Its time to get rid of this "record"....

i will be happy with a 0-1 win...... this would be my team...(rest reina, warnock, crouch & kewell for the derby)

I wonder whether Gerrard will be rested tonight. Rafa has voice his concerns about both Gerrard and Carragher playing too many games and saying injury is a possibility (BBC Sport. Birmingham has the biggest injury list in the league, I think some squad rotation could work tonight. I mean Rafa had the balls to do it against Newcastle and I think Birmingham are an easier prospect entirely.

Maybe Alonso will start ahead of Gerrard tonight, and maybe Rafa will play Agger and Hyypia together and bench Carragher?

Who knows?

Mate is that team a wind-up ?
Why rest Reina, keeprs cant exactly get tired...mentally maybe, but he had a 3 game break not so long ago.
Also why drop Hyypia ?
We should play our strongest team, this is our only chance of a trophy this season and we are away.
They have nothing to lose so all the pressure is on us.
Traore starting ??? Are you kidding ?
There best player is Pennant who plays right wing and would be one on one with Traore most of the game if you have Garcia ahead of him. There would only be one winner there.
I would go with a normal 4-4-2
                    Reina

Finnan     Carra     Hyypia      Agger

Gerrard    Alonso Hamann      Kewell

                 Garcia

                        Crouch

Almost agree with ya Ace
Apart from since Agger had a good game at the weekend along with the rest i would give him another run with Carra, and like you i think it will be a 4-4-2ish. I would let warnock look after pennant. Garcia on the left no chance for that same reason to open.
Also keep Hypia nice and fresh for the visit of you know who at the weekend.

Still feel on edge though about this one. :rasp
