So much for our so called talent scouts eh?..where have they been hiding, how can they have failed to notice the likes of didier drogbar? the amount of goals he has scored in euro competitions this season is phenomenal! how come GH didnt mention him last season, instead of banging the drum for cisse. I would like to have seen him in an LFC shirt before cisse. I cannot beleive our scouts did not notice him earlier.

no i don't. all i know is they aren't doing a sufficient job at the moment. you see arsenal bringing in all these exciting youngsters from abroad for the future. we on the other hand are linked with every cr@p player who becomes available.

Well take into account that GHs buys haven`t exactly inspired us have they will this be another of GHs failures? coz to spend £14 million on cisse is one hell of a gamble! seeing as he has wasted over £100 mil, already.

IT IS 6M UP FRONT, 4M IN INSTALLMENTS AND 2M BASED ON APPEARANCES AND SUCCESS RATES!

this transfer is houlliers last throw of the dice. if this guy doesn't produce, houllier will get slaughtered to a greater extent than he has ever been. i know 99% of fans want him out but some have been prepared to give him one last chance with the imminent arrival of this guy and possibly mexes.

cisse has no idea about the expectation levels that come with playing for this great club of ours. the fact he WANTS to play for us is obviously a bonus, unlike these money grabbing wasters like diouf. i personally think it will take cisse a season to settle in. the problem is, if he starts slowly then everyone will start jumping down houlliers throat.

Newcastle didn't look that good because Marseille bossed them off the pitch. Tell me you wouldn't want to see us play with Marseille's pace , passion , and precision.
Drogba's contribution was immense.

Talent scouts, this isn't f##king pop idol.

I think you need to get to anger management lessons redtill. Dont try and vent your anger at every aspect of this club, chill man, smoke a reefer and RELAX.

Our Chief Scout is Alex Miller, who was at Scotland during Euro 96 and was manager of Aberdeen. Houllier met up with him at Euro 96 and brought him to Anfield when he was given the manager's role.

He has sometimes recomennded GH not to sign a player, but Gh goes ahead with it anyway.

I THINK THE HIGH EXPECTATIONS WE(INCLUDING ME) HAVE FOR CISSE ARE SOMETHING HOULLIER IS USING TO ESURE HE GETS ANOTHER YEAR AT THE CLUB. HE'S BEEN SINGIN THE GUYS PRAISES FOR A YEAR NOW. I THINK HE COULD BE PUTTIN TOO MUCH PRESSURE ON CISSE TO PERFORM. WHAT IF HE TURNS OUT TO BE ANOTHER FLOP LIKE CHEYROU THE SO CALLED NEXT ZIDANE??

No. Cheyrou wasn't proven quality, but Cisse has been scoring goals consistently for the last 2 seasons and is a french international, so I can't see him being a flop.

Its not so much anger, more frustration!! at the way our whole management system seems to operate, so much money has been wasted on inferior unproven players, our scouting methods need to be reassessed, we cant afford to make any more mistakes.
