issues etc..
obvious question maybe. but im not into all the live stuff so that would be lost on me. however if the unit is good/worth enough to upgrade just for single player/odd co-op game then feel free to enlighten me

cheers guys.

i know SKY have dedicated channels, but aside from showing off the 360 and the world cup/sky etc...is it really the way forward when most of us could get by with just what we have? isnt it a luxury as yet?
reading up on hd makes it look as though we all HAVE to make the change fairly soon?
id love a HD set, same as id love a console that did all its asked of impressively well. my question is, does the xbox(1) fill that role already or should anyone who, lets face it, can only be described as a casual gamer at best. (me) throw caution to the wind and 'go for it' even when i probably never would use the online features..... or at least i havnt been shown exactly how they work. and in that respect ignorance is keeping me from learning the facts i suppose.
hd aside. bottom line:
can the xbox(1) and its library satisfy most gamers needs.
(i think it does for me) but then ive only seen a trailer for g.r.a.w in gamestation on a standard screen and concluded that ...although it does look impressive. does it play as good as it looks?
or
would swankier graphics/improved ui/aesthetics/media dashboards.. etc.. count for nothing unless portrayed over acreages of screen estate that has more dpi than you can count up to.
i seriously would get one if you guys talked about it more and
kind of persuaded me!
also could anyone differentiate the 2 systems available to me.
wireless controllers would be NICE but the rest of the bells and whistles? hmmm you lot are probably about to tell me to do some research on the web![]()
ive done loads! and still cant get a human idea of its potential!
graphics are a must thats obvious. but what else is it (good) at. and is it any different to the original in those respects.
long-winded and slightly wandering off-topic i know. then cant we start a sticky topic for xbox 360? it seems a lot of you are waiting for the ps3.
let them with 360 share the views, after all there will be almost a years headstart......
thanks ppl.

There currently is'nt alot of HD output, this is true, however this will change,.Sky are about to start shifting the HD Sky+ boxes(£299) which will pick up all HD transmissions including.........THE WORLD CUP(BBC)
There will be an add-on released for the xbox360 shortly that will alow HDDVD films to be watched. A hard drive will allow backward compatability for an awful lot of your old xbox games(eventually all of them). You can visit the marketplace on 'xboxlive' and download demos, trailers and quirky games for free(mostly). Lastly DO get that wireless controller, its mustard.
