Havent seen the game yet but dont care how scrappy it was i rather win those 5-1 then lose a game one nil that we dominated in

Made up that Robbie got on scoresheet and hopefully its a confidence boost after last few games

What a difference Fowler makes!

A lot of people on here give Mori stick, and deservedly, but he is a different player when Fowler is on the pitch. Both of them had so much of the ball in the first half it was unbelievable. Their movement made it difficult for Fulham.

I dont care what people say, Crouch is difficult to play with, and his lack of mobility is what stops us scoring goals. He is a useful player, I think he can do a job at the club, but he has started too many games for mine, particularly games at home.

Robbie Fowler makes Mori look twice the better player than he has been. Welcome back lad!

re: the fulham game. im not bragging but i have said before that a: crouch is under too much pressure to score and b: cisse is stilla very dangerous player.

so what happened? Crouch scores as soon as the pressure is off and cisse came on and was dangerous. yes, i rock

but i fell asleep and forgot to back fowler first goal so not happy on that front. the result was fantastic tho

There was a thread on here about Gerrard's best position being on the right side a while back because he doesnt control the game from the middle as much as the Viera's and Keane's did.

The lad is a champion, but he does tend to play in explosive bursts. Which I love, but Hamann is not the one to play alongside him. It cost us last night and it could have been a very different game had our strikers not been up for it.

As much as I like Hamann, he is too slow to control things when Gerrard switches off. A pretty average Fulham side was dictating us after they scored, and if we hadnt got the own goal, who knows?

Stevie was magnificent until we scored the first goal, then went missing. Didi is a great servant, but he just dosent have the leg speed to cover Gerrard
