New Marseille manager Papa Diouf wants El Hadji to join him at the Stade Velodrome according to press reports.

The Senegalese forward hasn't set the world alight since his £10m move from Lens two years ago.

Club officials met Diouf's agent the night of Liverpool's acrimonious UEFA Cup exit to consider a possible move back to France at the end of the season

Is this the same rumour that surfaced just after those cvnts knocked us out of the UEFA Cup? (cvnts = Biscan, Houllier and Marseille)

Not sure but i wouldnt be upset if the rumour was true!

I havnt liked his attitude since he has been here and he hasnt produced anything noticably good!

Hope this is true, I just hope that Diouf, Biscan, Traore and Heskey go in the summer cos Smicer, Cheyrou and Diao would be ok to keep for another season as squad players but no starters.

this one's more than a rumour. i heard it too many times. we'd be lucky to get even half the price for diouf that we payed for him.

that' the problem. i can see diouf leaving for approximately 5m if he does go. despite being played out of position, 3 goals in 60 appearances is not good enough.

If it's true, the guy will probably show us why we bought him but by then he'll be playing for another team. just like Anelka
Once again Fooliers management will be scrutinised.

Id still like to see Diouff played up front, maybe just once... im sure he was a striker once before houllier geniusly played him on the wing... am i right? :laugh:

But..Cisse is coming...A french league player-a french player...

Diouf was a world-class player..But GH couldn't use him properly....LFC can let him to go anywhere(except EPL teams) for 5m...
