I've given my opinion plenty of times... if Rafa likes any of it, he can send me a cheque! :D

We were not what I'd call prolific scorers last year however we did have enough players to 'chip in' all through the competition ie Smicer Baros Pongolle even Biscan scored v Leverkusen......connection? The wheels have fell off  Garcia of late which leaves Gerrard, Rafa Benitez you must not play Gerrard on the right, if you do we will deffo get knocked out.

Play to Fowler's feet while he's away from goal, and just play it to him when he's in or around the penalty area.

Then he'll score as many as you like. :;):

Oh, and BTW:

I'd work at Anfield for free, nevermind £1000 per hour. I'd clean the sh*tters for a season ticket!  :D

lando there was a what is a real fan thread not long back, that statment sums it up for me mate..

I would say " look here rafa, lets get back to early on in the season when chances were coming in from every angle,
kewells playing well now so he should sort your left side out, we need xabi to push on a bit more to unlock this pile of sh'ite tomorrow, robbie will knock the ball in for us if you can work the ball into the right areas and nando is going to score soon so he is worth one more go    oh and.....

lets tell traore that it is being played in manchester and ask him to meet us there and to wear his strip!

Yeah and Bruno Cheyrou WAS the new Cantona  & Zidane and was just unlucky whilst at liverpool.

All you'd get from Rafa with advice like that is   :talktothehand  and the door slammed in yer face.

When sami was injured on saturday against charlton,Traore was pushed as centre back and he played rather well.
I was surprised myself that Ager was not brought in,but Traore played hip part perfectly.
If it had been any other player who had played as he did, then you'd all probably be touting him as the much sought after successor to hyppia.

Mate I would lose a limb for the pleasure.

are you saying you are so incompetent that you'd anything for a freebie token?
Or are you suggesting you are so loyal to the club that you would offer your services for free?
It must be the former cuz the most loyal supporters of LFC are intelligent(SG,Carra,Parry,Official site admins etc) enough to get paid for the services they may offer the club and they are the same ones who PAY to go to games, buy merchandize etc cuz simply put... we all depend on each other.

Its good to be honest and say that you cannot offer anything... saves time BUT you had an opportunity to make money and at the same time help your beloved club and you did nothing.
All top proffessionals or firms hire other top professionals or firms in the same line of businness for consultation perposes...like a law firm consulting with a lawyer from another firm...or an IT company hiring a consultant in a specilized IT field...so i think it the same may be happening in football where managers consult other managers/soccer proffesionals when faced with a unique situation.

Anyway how many times do you think you might get an oppotunity like this? :no

You silly ar*e.  :no

The strikers should forget about the past games where they have lots chance but can't find the net.  They should be thinking about defending the CL title.

All this talk of playing our normal game and the goals will come I don't buy really.  We need to come out and bury them in the first 20-30 minutes with a fast tempo.  The tempo has to be right from the first whistle.  We can't afford to let them settle into any sort of rhythm.

What we did against Juve last year is a good example, another is how Rangers came out in the 1st half against Villareal last night.  The foreign teams don't like a frantic pace, I believe we can do them in the first half if we do that.

If we get an early goal they'll crumble and I can see us winning 3-0.  We've been threatening to give someone a hammering all season and tonight's gonna be it I think.  I fancy Fowler to get off the mark tonight as well.

As we desparately need goals I'd start with five attack-minded players...
----------------reina-------------------
finnan----carra------hyppia-------riise
----------------alonso-------------------
stevie-----------garcia------------harry
----------crouch--------robbie------
...and play attacking until we score.  The central midfield looks weak but creative, so we'd be relying on the defence to play well.  If necessary during the match, we can swap Garcia and Stevie for a more solid central midfield while still offering an attacking threat.  I know this isn't going to happen, but that's why I'm not a football manager!

Ignore all the dickheads telling you who to play and how to play and keep doing what you're doing.

play anyone who knows which direction the goal is in. Get the ball through to fowler and if he shoots on target its in, if he shoots wide the kop will suck the ball into the net. We have a twelve man folks so lets use it!
