It can be truth, but he's a winner.Look at his trophy room. It's fantastic for a coach with 42 or 43 years.

And £42,000,000 or £43,000,000 (or £100million)to spend on 1 player.

The only great thing Mourinho has ever done was to win the CL and the UEFA Cup with Porto. A big feat but nothing compared to Rafa that has won the CL two times and the UEFA Cup once and won the spanish league with Valencia twice. Valencia uppsetting the two biggest teams Real Madrid and Barcelona.

Winning the league in Portugal with the best team and the biggest backup is hardly a surprise. Winning the EPL with Chelsea is even easier than that.

Mourinho is also an :censored: and that is why he is hated around the world. Great PR for Portugal... haha.

Has any figure in football ever been so hated before? I highly doubt it.

I keep hearing this argument - but in the 1987 and 1988 Porto won the European Cup- was Moaninho there? No!!

I looked at the league table today- and who's top? Yep, Porto are!! Is Moaninho in charge -no he isn't.

FC Porto won titles before he arrived and they'll continue to win them long after he's gone!!

Chelsea have never won a european cup and without the hundreds of millions of pounds he's been given he'd never be close to winning the Premiership never mind Europe!!

Referring to an old topic- money may buy titles, but it'll never buy respect (or class)!!

Mourinho talking bollox as usual here.  The reasons for playing Fowler and Morientes were:

1)  Fowler was unavailable for the United game before, and the Man City game after, the Benfica game.  Fowler had to play in that game if we want to get him match sharp.

2)  It's no secret Benitez has been trying to play Morientes into some form.  He probably thought Morientes was more likely to get a goal in the CL than the prem to boost his confidence.

Therefore the decision to play those 2 was totally justified imo.  Crouch will play against Benfica at anfield and cause them all sorts of problems, probably alongside Fowler.

As for Mourinho, hindsight's a wonderful thing isn't it.  If he thinks comments like that will unsettle Benitez or put more pressure on us for the 2nd leg he's deluded.  I can't stand the guy, even Fergie at his worst (before the senile dementia set in) wouldn't have commented on another manager's team selection when it was nothing to do with him.

Jose does have the point...however he should also shut up and think how to celebrate their lose in Nou Camp...it seem he started to be busy-body nowadays...

For u, what he says is so important that you can't stop arguing about that. That's what Mourinho wants, because it retires the pressure of Chelsea's players. He's very intelligen, a mind games master and also a man that loves his show-off and his impact over the fans and press. You don't like, you scream, you say that he's childish and that he sucks. He loves it. It's a victory to him. If you want to beat them, it's better if you make pressure over the players and forget Mourinho.
