It is true that our three strikers are doing worse than expected, but we have to continue supporting them because they are the three players we have in our team. Hopefully they will improve for this week's important match against Benfica.

At the moment I would sell them both, that way we might realise sufficient to purchase someone who knows where the goals are located. As we can't sell them now they would realise they have until the season's end to hit the target regularly.

Extremely disappointed.   ???

Calzaghe performed very well but the fact remains he avoided the biggest fighters for ages.  He should of thought Hopkins when Hopkins was in his prime.  There was no reason why he couldnt of stepped up a weight to Light Heavy and fight Roy Jones either.

Now the fights out their for him now are Tarver at Light Heavy but thats not a real hard fight.  If the winner out of Winky Wright v Germaine Taylor is ready to step up to Super Middle from Middleweight Calzaghe could have a big fight their.

As for Lacy, I knew he would struggle.  The guy has a big punch but thats it.  His hand speed is slow and if you want to fight in the inside you need quick head movement to avoid opponents jabs.  Lacy does npt have this.

Calzaghe deserves his place in the top 10 pound 4 pound list but top 3? No way.

1. Mayweather
2. Barerra
3. Winky Wright

Put it this way calzaghe has more quality than our strikers put together. As for Calzaghe avoiding the best out there i think its the other way round, He has been unlucky injuring his hand more often than not though, I think on that performance which was amazing Sunday morning, Tony, mayweather, hopkins, royjones and winky would all get beaten the better the boxer the better calzaghe performs. Some American Boxing pundits even stated that calzaghe's performance was the best they have ever seen.

Well Mayweather is a Welterweight so not going to happen unless Floyd continues his amazing run.  This guy started at Super Featherweight and is now a 4 weight champion.  If he does go up to middle and wins the World Title he will then be a real legend.  I cant wait to he fights Hatton and destroys him and then people will see why this kid will go down as one of the all time greats.

Tony is now a HW but way past it.  Roy Jones and Hopkins again both past it.  Roy Jones in his prime would of destroyed Calzaghe.  Winky Wright is a fighter not many want to fight as he has the ability to make many a fighter look bad.  His got a fantastic jab and I expect him to beat Germaine Taylor and then hopefully move up to fight Calzaghe.  I dont think Calzaghe would want Wright though.

Calzaghe did beat Lacy very easily but is Lacy as good as any of the names mentioned above?  Not even close.
