I think he'll have a better season next season after he sorts out his ankle injury.

I prefer him out on the wing.........only  problem is apart from Mikey (not the tallest of players) there's no one to whip a cross into.
Have you noticed how the top teams seem to be able to suddenly flood the area (or edge of) when the ball is about to be delivered from out wide ?  :(

During our treble season we put countless crosses into the box with Mikey and Emile waiting to get on the end of them plus support from the midfield. It is very rare that we see both our strikers in the box at the same time these days + opposing defences generally sit on the edge of the penalty area daring us to beat them with crosses from deep.

HAD A GREAT GAME ALONGSIDE OWEN AGAINST BORO. HE LOOKED SO SHARP AND HIS GOAL WAS NO WAY OFFSIDE. AFTER HE GETS RID OF HIS INJURY I HOPE TO SEE HIM COME INTO HIS OWN
Steve Gerrard Gerrard,
He'll pass the ball 40 yards,
He's quick and he's f*cking hard,
Steve Gerrard Gerrard.

Kewell is the best left winger in the prem bar duff but yet again houllier refuses to put players in their best position. He has been played in so many positions this season his head must be spinning.
We have seen this again and again with heskey played out on left wing countless times also cheyrou has been played out wide left and even as a 2nd striker behind Owen.
What about biscan?bought as a defensive midfielder but he failed there miserably so houllier tells us all he will be a centre half which was a joke but yet he persisted with him.
Diao is another bought as midfielder and yet he was tried at centre half with no joy.
Diouf has played most of his games on the right wing when he was bought as a striker and has produced little.
It seems to me like houllier is trying to prove how clever he is by playing all these players in positions that are foreign to them but yet he has failed. He has made them look alot worse than they really are and playing players in their best positions is not rocket science.
He has failed miserably with his experiments which each and every 1 of these players but yet he has never even admitted he made a mistake by playing them out of position but then again maybe he doesnt think he has made any mistakes with these players.
Smith to Shankly:My thigh is a bit sore, but I think I could play.
Shankly to Fagan:Tell him,Joe.He has got no chance of playing.
Smith to Fagan:Tell him to sod off.It is not his leg,it's mine.
Shankly to Smith:Oh no son.You are wrong, son. It is not your leg.
It is Liverpool Football Club's leg.

Kewell had a good game Sunday playing alongside Owen and like all very good players is capable of doing that but like so many in here I agree Left Midfield is his best position.

GH has this habit of asking the Left/Right midfielders to swap during the games and on the whole it doesn't work, it takes time to suss out your opposing right/left back in a  game and continuially swapping from one to another wing doesn't help.

Also despite having possibly one tof the top 3 Wingers in the Prem we still are TOO NARROW !!!! Rise's recent return to the side has helped on the left side but the right side is almost non existent !!
