Why not splash the cash on yakubu?

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Look, Cisse, Morientes, Fowler are finding it hard to score goals and you think Yakubu will jus score lots of goals IF he comes to Liverpool?

Yakubu, in my opinion, is turning into a poor man's Adriano, and if he continues his rate of development he will emerge as one of the top strikers in Europe.

The acid test for him is whether he can handle the pressure of being a star and being at a big club.

If he keeps going he'll be snapped up by a bigger club than Middlesboro, and if Liverpool have a chance to sign him, it should be this summer, as I feel his transfer value will simply explode in the next 18 months.

Not at all Stu, I actually do respect you, but there's one side of you I can't stand - the fact you cannot be open minded and let people have their own opinion's. There's no doubt you are very intelligent and have good knowledge of the club, but you abuse it to the point you don't deserve it, if that make's sense!

Why can't you just disagree without abusing people in the process, you don't always have to say something like "bollox, f*ck off and get real" you know.

all jump on the bandwagon here and sign a petition to sign yakubu and get rafa to read it haha, bent is still a unproven risk were as yakubu is not,i honestly believe he could be one of the top strikers in europe in the next couple of years!

Hes a consistent player who gets a lot of goals, but I dont think hes good enough to play for a top four Premiership club at the moment.
Theres a lot better in the market, forward wise at the moment.
