let me tell you something about thailand fakes boys..
there are many types of fake items, jerseys, t-shirts, handbags, watches etc. The quality of the fake is classified by grade ratings being first grade for the best and third for the least quality ones.
Make no mistake that first grade fakes are 90% similar to the real ones regardless of products. First grade fakes are relatively more expensive than the second and third grade materials. I used to live in Bangkok for 3 years I know the trade pretty well.
I bought a TAG HEUER with SEIKO engine (first grade fake) for less than 20 pounds and everyone swears it looked exactly as the one that cost more than 1K.
As for the ebay jersey is concerned, it looks like a third grade for me BUT having said that, the first grade will be coming anytime soon with much better material and quality.
Purchasing power parity (PPP) in South East Asia (SEA) is marginally lower than most european countries' PPP. Since original kits are mostly imports, to buy an original kit would cost a week's or a fortnight's pay. That's why fake kits are so popular in SEA. Unless the kitmaker can develop a price mechanism that keep similar price regardless of currency denomination, expect the fakes to rule some parts of the world.
