Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Anthony Le Tallec has admitted that the end of the season could be difficult with Sunderland.

The Liverpool forward is on loan at The Stadium of Light but, with Mick McCarthy's side seemingly doomed for relegation, it appears as though the manager is already thinking ahead to his plans for next term.

That means loanees like Le Tallec and Arsenal's Justin Hoyte may be used more sparingly as the Premiership campaign draws to a close, and the Frenchman is a little concerned.

After scoring in the France Under-21 side's win against Slovakia on Tuesday, the 21-year-old explained his situation.

"I felt fine," he said. "I scored so I am happy.

"It is good to win.

"Physically, I was not at my best.

"My end to the season with Sunderland could be complex. I risk not playing a lot but I will hold on."
