Real Madrid calls to Rafa Benítez
JOSE FELIX DIAZ. Madrid
Real Madrid moves thinking about the next season. It is already known that still the name of the trainer of the next season is not determined (Expensive Lopez is not discarded but its continuity is now something quite improbable because the equipment has failed in the two more important appointments that it has had with the Andalusian in the bench: Zaragoza and Arsenal), but the white sport direction already is moving and looking for the trainer who puts according to all the madridismo.
One of the names that have handled the white directors from the good bye of Luxembourg has been Rafa Benítez, present trainer of the Liverpool of 45 years. It is not the only name that has appeared in the list that in its day Fabio Capello headed and in that also appeared Mourinho and Wenger, but Benítez is the one that has happened to occupy the first position and the first approach already has taken place. Mark can to assure that a white emissary has drilled the technician to know his disposition or not to become the next trainer of Real Madrid. Answer has be positive, since Benítez sees with good eyes the possibility of returning to which it was his house and to take advantage of the opportunity to direct to the white club, where already directed two seasons to the branch. Certain he is that Benítez has three years more of contract with the Liverpool, but the leaders of the English club could not close the doors to Benítez if finally he reaches an agreement with Real Madrid. They know that after the success harvested with the conquest of the Champions they could not deny the desire to him that it has to train to the Madrid, at which it would arrive with guarantees to gain Liga, Glass of the UEFA, Champions and Supercopa of Europe among other titles in less than five seasons.
Reporting line
From the draftee of Owen and the later crossing of Morientes al Liverpool, Rafa Benítez has reporting line with one of the chiefs of a main directorate del Real Madrid. The syntony is good and the mentioned chief of a main directorate has been of whom and more better the Perez of the excellence of Benítez have spoken to Florentino. And it is that the name of the ex- ones of the Valencia has been either in several occasions in the head of the president of Madrid, but in the end diverse circumstances restrained the interest, or by their draftee by the Liverpool or because Madrid showed preference for the continuity of Luxe.
The madridistas leaders see in Benítez a technician who knows to remove to the maximum the yield to his players and that has taken to equipment like Valencia and Liverpool to gain titles when they had been moved away years of the fight. In Madrid he counts on the endorsement of Butragueño, Benito Floro and Ramon Martinez, that is to say, the madridista sport direction. They value the ability to work and the mentalizado thing that has its players at any moment. The information also elaborated emphasize of him the optimal result that it obtains in his equipment. The doubt is to know if Benítez will have, as it happens to him in the Liverpool, the whole freedom at the time of doing and undoing in the draftees, paper that has assumed in the English club from its arrival.

My hope and suspicion is however that he will. Liverpool is a work in progress and by the looks of things, we are probably in year two of a four year project interms of building an absolute top quality team/squad. He also gets stability and love which he knows comes and goes at Madrid. Equally importantly, aren't his kids mid-schools sort of age? Maybe when the eldest is 11 and looking to change schools, the Benitez family may feel it's time to go back to their roots.
For now and a couple of seasons at least, my bet would be that he stays and God knows I hope I'm right.
