I suppose they'll go 3 - 0 down before half time to AC Milan in the final as well and come back from that.

Delusional indeed.

They must be f*cking DRUNK!!!!!!!! :D

One of my Arsenal fan friends explained the 'logic' behind their belief that they will win the CL this year, and it is a parallel with us.  Stuggling for 4th place against local rivals, who for the first time in over a decade have turned up this year - Henry being linked with a move away all year, just like Stevie, and the fact that both Henry and Gerrard were first year captains (Henry obviously still is).

Anyway, they see history repeating, and us being them this season.

Delusional, but there you go.

Does your friend sniff things like deodourant and lighter-fuel cans?

Maybe he has a stash of tippex pens in his pockets?

:D

hansen was saying this on the bbc website last season and the parallels between us last year and arsenal now are there for all to see.

last season our away record domestically was shocking as arsenal's is now. we were also relying on winning the champions league to realistically get back into it as we were struggling to make the top four, ditto arsenal this season.

i just can't see it though. wenger's record in europe leaves a lot to be desired and i fancy real madrid strongly, especially with arsenal's first choice defence out. ronaldo against senderos doesn't bare thinking about. :D

unbelievable :O

on sky sports, maureen is asking the ref to stamp down on barcelona's constant diving in their game tomorrow.

now i agree that eto'o and particularly deco (who incidentally was taught how to dive by maureen at porto), can go down rather easily.

however maybe he should concentrate on his own players such as duff, drogba and joe f#cking cole not throwing themselves around like ballerinas.

Villareal is having the worst moment on the season,  riquelme is injuried and the players are not being serius. Just one example i saw Forlan  and some of his mates at 5 am in a famous disco last saturday. My surprise was yesterday when i saw on tv they had training at 10 am . My  2 cents goes with  GR

Actually Riquelme is fit and IMHO opinion Villareal will go far in the champions league this year. They are a strong team and they should whip Rangers

for what its worth people i gotta say 11/2 for arsenal to beat real madrid is a massive price and im gonna have a punt.

also, and dont all call me mad, but 7/1 for cisse to score first is also a large bet so im taking that as well... the double on the two pays out 52 pounds for a £1 stake :p

Real Madrid - Arsenal. Fav: Real Madrid, despite de 6-1 against Zaragoza, they've improved a lot with the new unknown coach.

Villareal - Ranges: Fav: Villareal. Despite what Pablinho says, I respect a lot Villareal

Benfica - Liverpool: Fav: Liverpool. We're strong.

Chelsea - Barcelona: Fav: Barcelona. May seem they have a blip, but Rijkaard has been doing lots of rotations to have the players rested...

It seems a little bit country biased my opinion, but it's not. some months ago, I'd put Arsenal as fav against Madrid.

sabre what has changed at madrid cause i have just seen ssn and beckham was going on abut changes in training and more team sprit, but is the new coach any good.

i only ask because real away is my dream european game, and we could get them when they beat the gonners

i know roma and barca have got history but i would sell my dog to get the money for that ticket,
