Carvalho is overated. He's a pretty average centre half.

Del Horno, Terry, Gallas and Ferreira is chelsea's best back four by a mile.

i want chelsea at home. If we are gonna win it we have to beat them so we might as well do it sooner rather then later if were gonna win it.

I think he's a good defender and better than average but would agree Stu that Terry and Gallas are better. It's worth bearing in mind when considering Chelsea's staggering spending power that I think I'm correct in saying they paid 19.8 million quid for Carvallo. An unbelieveable sum of money considering his capabilities.
Once he's been called once though in a big game for the shirt pulling, he will definately have to change the way he plays.

I don't mind who we get as long as we're at home.

Liverpool vs Chelsea would be a great final but it'd also be good for them to not even make it that far!! I think Liverpool vs Newcastle in the final would be great. Shearer playing his last game for Newcastle and wanting to end with a piece of silverware- then we stuff them 3-0.

yeah hope its a home draw, we wont draw chelsea im sure of that, we cant draw them in everything. Hopefully chelsea will be surprised by sum1 else and knocked out, if they are gone then we should win the cup, only they can stop us.

Anybody at home will suit me.

Quater finals are mid week matches, no replay.  Straight to extra time and penalties  :suspect: , a home draw would be preferable

i presume the quarters have been moved to midweek to make the season shorter for englands benefit? the fixturelist is ridiculous enough as it is. if we had drawn against manure the replay could not have been played for three and a half weeks.

charlton vs boro
villa/man city vs bolton/west ham
chelsea vs newcastle
birmingham vs liverpool

they're a bit of a bogey side for us but it's still a good draw.

so much for shearer winning anything at newcastle
