Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Don't mind anyone at home. There are some very good teams still in it though. Hopefulley Chelsea will get Middlesborough away an get knocked out. Also Bolton and Man City are very good. Newcastle and Birmingham are the 2 weakest sides IMO watched the Newcastle game and am not very convinced at all.

I've always rated Carvalho, even though he is a shirt pulling cheating fucker and he plays for those classless twats, but I've always thought of him as one of the best centre backs in the Premiership.  He was voted one of the best in Europe two seasons ago and has hardly put a foot wrong for Chelsea until this season.  He's still a very good player.

It woudn't bother me if we got Chelsea in the draw home or away, they might have beaten us a month a go but there is unfinished business to attend to next time we play them.  Why not in the FA Cup?

I'd take anyone to be honest and be confident of beating them.

To be honest John,if they get past Barcelona (which i think they wont)....it would give me more pleasure to knock them out of the champions league again........

I don't want Chelsea.. they are the best team in England at the moment and still have the edge over us. (although we are improving where they are standing still).

Anyone else preferably at home...  Bring it on!!
Our job is simple, to support the club, not just parts of the club that are easy to support, but every one who plays a part, that includes ALL players.  We are stronger when we are all walking in the same direction. Walk On

Got a sneaky feeling for Newcastle away..

I wanted Chelsea too, until I thought about, it, there's only 1 place to play Chelsea, and that's the final..

On the other hand, if we drew them at Anfield this round, we'd have home advantage..

Maybe it's better then, Chelsea at home. :)

God I'm confused. :lookaround

On the question Of Carvallo, sooner or later a referee is going to go into a game thinking "if he does that grab the shirt thing from a corner I'm going to give a penalty". He is by far the most blatent exponent of it in the Prem and a penalty against him at an important moment is long overdue.
BTW did anyone see the Chelsea third goal yesterday when Drogba went down stricken calling for the ball to be put out. Some of the players stopped and Cole scored a good goal only for Drogba to recover. Dermot Gallagher was livid and I wouldn't mind having him as ref next time we play them.

He must be the most blatent cheating b@stard in the Prem, remember that handball when we should have beaten them on New Years day when Mike Manc reilly didnt give us a pen, and Carra went to kill him.
Yesterday he was pulling that players shirt for about a minute when he should have been sent off.
Cheating b@stard him and John (handball/goalie) Terry.

I agree i hate that guy more than any player i can think of bar Gary Neville. He is a right arrogant fúck.He has a battle going on with Eto' at the moment for the right to be called Africas best player. For me Eto' wins that one hands down although Drogba has pubically said "i am the best player in Africa"............
Did anyone see his reaction when Egypt got a penalty in the African nationals cup.......i wanted to stick my foot through the tv.........cant stand the bloke.
