I voted for Morientes for personal feelings, for once. I don't think he's the best of the lot, but I think he's the most underrated of the lot. I can't understand how Fowler can have the most votes of all when he's arrived so soon, I think my mates have voted him due to the Fowler's brilliant past, so I felt sorry for Morientes who only got one vote, and I voted him. Not because he's Spaniard, because he's been underrated.

PS:I apologise if my description of sabres character is construed as a racist remark.I had no intention whatsoever of offending the Latino comminity,just sabre.

It's not only necessary he WANTS to offend me, he must be ABLE too, and he CAN'T, because I don't bloody care his rants :laugh:

Fowler, even if unfit and currently underplayed.

Don`t have too much time for the others, but I`d have alittle more for them if it was a CL game.

no, calling him a snitch isn't. however, calling him a "latino punk azz snitch" is. Im latin too and it IS racist to refer to specific people because of their race or ethnic background.

back to discussing football, which by the way is what the forum is for. my vote goes to crouch. as benitez said today on lfc.tv about our strikers:

"I am happy with them and we are waiting for them to start scoring goals, maybe they will tomorrow at Wigan. I am not worried because Morientes has scored goals always, Fowler has and Cisse has. Crouch can do it as well but with him it's a case of not how many goals he can score but how many assists he can give to his team-mates."

With that said, the strikers which have scored the most for us in the premiership are Crouch and Cisse. Crouch has played the same number of games as Cisse and scored 5 goals, Cisse has scored 4. not bad for a guy who is there to assist his team mates. I wont say anything about Morientes because he is a great striker although never been really an all and out goal scorer.

Lately i've been thinking that a Moro-Fowler combination up front could prove to be deadly. They are our most experienced strikers and could complement each other nicely, especially since they are both good readers of the game. As for crouch, I think he is best played with a player right off him, someone like Gerrard, Luis Garcia or Pongolle (unfortunately he's out on loan).

PS: I dont really believe in stats, i just placed the PL goals since most people believe a strikers ability is measured by his goals. I also only mentioned the PL since no one in the forum complains about the teams CL form.

oh and by the way mudface, we prefer the term hispanic :rasp

I have means to play a chess game against you right here, there are some nice chessboards that can be pasted and you can see the movements and everything. I'd crush you, but I wouldn't play with you, I'm sure you'd start loading chessmaster 9000 in the fourth movement in order to make the next move computer assisted.

Latin is not offensive at all, mate. Both French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, and Romanian are all latins. So are South American mates.

Hispanic means related to Hispania, the Roman (1) name for Spain, so I've always thought that the term is a bit disrespectful to respectable and independent countries like Chile or Argentina. Latin is an ok term to me.
