True, they can be interesting for a scout, but I wouldn't buy a player from what I saw in a tournament alone. The best way is to have him watched over the course of a season or two in domestic football.

it is first class stuff this african nations business, speaking to a lad from kenya and he said that politics still has an overbearing influence over there, and that the football suffers becuase of it

Just because Diouf and Diao did,nt cut it that does not mean that we should not look for talent in Africa or does it in your head??
There are some very very talented unheard of players over there that we could pick up on the cheap...so why not ??
