Stockport Reserves twice, once against Crewe once against Burscough, Rotherham reserves vs Sheff United reserves and trails at both Tranmere rovers and an open trail for Wigan Athletic.

I've got mates that have playing for Altringham and mates who are currently played for Formby, Whitton and Burscough.

You're talking like a dick, you don't know football and you don't have a clue about the tactical, technical or physical side of the game. You're also clearly unable to take on board there are players out there that have more ability than some professionals and there are players out the that have better qualities that world class players. The fact you show no knowledge in any post, you don't use examples, you just dismiss suggestions and points i make as being rubbish without coming up with any justified reason or example says everything about you I, and everyone else reading this needs to know. IE you're making judgements on things you know nothing about.

FA coaching badges don't go into tactical movement, coaching technique, correct technique, physical injuries, creating space, using area's of the pitch, player psychology or any other aspect of the game a coach needs to know in anything like the depth a UEFA one does. Its like Maths GCSE and a degree in Accountancy, completely different in terms of content and depth.

The FA level's 2 and 3 are mainly about child safety, first aid, basic drills, basic ways to improve players, looking after kids and being supportive.

I am not going to respond to anything else you say as you simply aren't worth the time or effort, are extremely deluded, don't understand the game and lack basic social skills.

As i said previously, a complete and utter dickhead.

Well woof, the lad give me a good game, but to be fair i matched him for effort and class will always shine through after that, i'd like to thank the gaffer for all his support in making me what i am today, i couldn't possibly be here otherwise. Also to the fans, thanks for the support, i'll continue trying to do my best for newkit. My attitude is to carry on whenever someone tries to kick you down, and in from the first minute i was receiving abuse i knew it was going to be a hard day, however i've come through that!

Barton in my opinion is a very good player..and underated by most.

He is a very similar player to Gerrard in the ways that Stu has mentioned but i feel that Stu overates Joey Barton when most do the opossite!

Yes Joey is a good player and he is having a great season..i also feel that he can play at a higher level than Man City! But to basically say that he has as much technical abilty as S/G is balls! And tha S/G is only a better player because of attaitude, work rate and physical presence is total cr@p!

Stu i agree with most of the things you say on here and its clear you have more football knowledge than a lot.......But to put Joey Barton in Stevies league...sorry lad!
I dont buy it!!

Barry, i'm not saying he's in Stevie's league mate. I'm saying he's an excellent player, in Lampard's class. For me he's as good as Lampard but different.

Gerrard isn't a world class passer, he's sloppy occassionally and isn't like Alonso. Over the years i've seen good passers short and long, Alonso and Redknapp can put a ball on a pennypeice from 60 yards, Barnes and Hamann never conceed possession and play good short passes. Barton's short passing is better.

Using the old champ manager system to get my point across... :D Gerrard first, Barton second out of 20, 20 being world class, 15 being very good, 10 being average. I'll put Henry and Cisse in there to give you more of an idea.

Gerrard, Barton, Henry, Cisse.

Physical:

Pace: 17, 11, 20, 20
Accelertion: 17, 12, 20, 18
Strength: 17, 13, 15, 12
Agility: 16, 12, 16, 11
Balance: 18, 12, 18, 12
Work rate: 20, 18, 15, 8

Mental:

Vision: 15, 15, 17, 8
Positional sense: 15, 17, 10, 7
Aggression: 19, 19, 15, 11
Bottle: 19, 17, 12, 8
Leadership: 19, 16, 15, 5
Ability to read the game (defensive): 15, 17, 9, 7
Ability to read the game (attacking): 17, 15, 16, 14
Decision making: 15, 16, 16, 10
Composure: 17, 16, 19, 11

Technical:

Passing: 16, 17, 14, 11
Heading: 14, 11, 11, 10
Finishing: 16, 14, 18, 15
Shooting: 18, 15, 16, 15
Dribbling: 15, 12, 18, 13 (attribute thats effected by pace)
Technique: 16, 16, 19, 13
First touch: 15, 15, 18, 11
Skill: 15, 15, 18, 8

Well, I appreciate your efforts in coming up with those numbers stu. Though I didn't read them all. At least you are trying to make a point by clearly stating where you are coming from. That's probably the right way to engage in a debate rather than just "fu.ck this, fu.ck that" "you don't know a shi't" etc.

Hadn't read through this entire thread but perhaps barton does have some areas whereby he is better than gerrard.

Nevertheless I would never ever encourage the signing of a person like him. He stubbed a cigar into the EYE of a Man C trainee. E-Y-E. What kind of a man does that? I wouldn't bet against him wanting to leave for real madrid if he made it big at Anfield.

So let's stop talking about him. For a man like him does not deserve liverpool's attention.

I agree we shouldn't sign the lad due to that, i've said that before. But the point still had to be made.

Joey Barton is not a RM, and Gerrard will eventually be playing in the centre. As long as we have Gerrard, Alonso, Hamann and Sissoko, we don’t need a CM, and I hope all 4 will be here next season.

i duuno what Stu problem is, maybe he hasn't had sex in a while or maybe he's just 14...eitherway, his approach to people having a different opinion is laughable.  He's rude, arrogant and seems unable to grasp the fact that different people have different opinions.
