Cruel but true Phil, cruel but true.

I must be going soft in my old age as I felt a tad sorry for this Leeds fan.

Whilst I have no such sympathy for Leeds PLC you would have to have a heart of stone not to feel sorry for the real casualties in a case like this ....i.e the FAN ! ???

Players on the whole come and go from clubs with impunity but fans don't have that option.

I agree the fans are the big losers there, but they are on the way back up and good luck to them.

Traore I think would turn heads at Leeds.  :D

Yeah, turn heads and have people saying "what the fook" before tying a noose to the nearest rafter.   :D

Ah well that what you get for trying to buy success.

traore was just rank. I would rather drink gone off milk than watch him play at left back against a decent wide player

Don't Leeds still owe us a fair whack of the original transfer fee?

I heard that they were supposed to be paying us in instalments, but one was due when they were on the verge of going into administration, and it's never actually been paid off in full.

Regardless - if we've got Fowler at a cost of £13k a week, that's the bargain of the 21st century for me. Remember we brought Anelka in on loan during the January window in 2001 at a cost of £1m up front, PLUS his weekly wages, and that was a good deal at the time.

Phenomenal deal by Parry, Rafa and co. :)
