True or False?

ARSENAL are ready to offer Michael Owen a title-chasing escape route from Liverpool in a £12million bid to strengthen their Champions League challenge for next season.
Gunners manager Arsene Wenger believes the England striker will be tempted by the prospect of being part of a free-flowing front-line, in contrast to the lone forward role he plays at Anfield.
Owen has just over 12 months left on his contract, although Liverpool say talks have begun about a one-year extension.
Unless agreement is reached, they risk Owen leaving for nothing when his existing deal runs out.
Wenger is ready to step in and his £12m bid would certainly interest Owen, who has 16 goals this season despite being hampered by injuries.
It is known he has doubts about Liverpool's style of play under Gerard Houllier, feeling it asks too much of him.
Wenger's side play a quick-passing, fast-flowing game that would appear ideal for Owen, and Arsenal are convinced he would relish the prospect of playing alongside Thierry Henry, Robert Pires and Patrick Vieira.
More pressingly, the 24-year-old wants to be at a club challenging for the biggest prizes, rather than one hoping to clinch the fourth Champions League qualification spot.
Real Madrid's interest has tailed off in recent months, and it seems Barcelona would only turn to him if other targets reject them.
Wenger has never tried to hide his interest in Owen, saying recently: "He's purely a goalscorer. He has the patience of a hired killer.
"It's difficult to say if Thierry and Owen would be a perfect partnership, but I know Thierry could play with anybody."
Owen had always said he wanted to help bring championship success back to Liverpool, but he is ambitious and aware that is unlikely at Anfield.
