did you know that we are the second cleanest team in the league this season. maybe we can scrape into europe this way if everything else fails.

we haven't had a player sent off in the league. steven gerrard has only been booked once all season. we are up there despite diouf's 12 yellows and 1 red (0 goals).

the only team who are above us are, yes u guessed it, the scum. this is mainly due to refs never giving anything against man united players, especially at old trafford. for example, was neville booked for the penalty challenge on saturday?

We always finish 1st or 2nd in the fairplay league. Like you say - It could be our route into Europe

In my view a lack of yellows means the players aren't trying hard enough or they are making perfect tackles - I know which is the more likely. I think there is a lack of fight, I was amazed at the lack of cards in the match at old toilet

have you seen the guy try and tackle? he makes paul scholes look like bobby moore. even when he comes on as sub he's getting booked for petulant stuff like descent, kicking the ball away etc. i agree though that his sending off against chelsea was a farce and was rightly rescinded.

it's great to see Gerrard has cleaned up his game, one of the reasons he's a better player this season
