Gary neville............. - Football  ambassador !

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby Dalglish » Mon Jan 23, 2006 2:39 am

Football is a bit like life, you don't always get what you deserve and so it was at the Theatre of broken Dreams yesterday  :Oo:

I was one of the lucky 3000 or so Liverpool fans who managed to get a ticket and I wanted to highlight an incident post goal from a viewpoint  that SKY chose not to show.....

Ok Ferdinand heads a goal and even the most optimistic LFC fan knows it's all over......

Gary "inadequate" Nevile then runs fully 40 yards ..NOT to celebrate in with his fellow players , NOT to salute his own 64,000+ suporters but chooses to run into the corner of the ground where the LFC fans are situated and incite the away support beyond what any reasonable fan would say was acceptable....

Travel back in time to 1999 and the 4th round of the FA Cup when Man U scored twice in 3 minutes to knock Liverpool out of the Cup and again Gary Neville chooses to incite the Away fans rather than celebrate amoungst his own.....

Notice the pattern ? Thought you might have done but a pattern that the FA will almost certainly not take any action over.

How the FA can allow a professional player like Neville to get away with this is beyond me when they instruct the referee to book players for over celebrating !!!!!!  :Oo:

Ok.... LFC fans have a few choice songs specifically aimed at Neville but he's nothing special , we have anti Rooney songs , anti Van Nistelroy songs etc......and nevertheless just become a section of the fans sing those types of songs, what gives him the right to abuse us all in return ? :Oo:

No doubt United fans will jump to his defence and call it passion but when did passion for your club (a rare commodity  shown by players these days I know) give him the right to incite and goad the away supporters.

I have a theory , such was the cacophony of noise coming from the liverpool fans it was all he could hear throughout the game and hadn't realised his home supporters were there :D

In the process of celebrating, he was looking for the badge so he could kiss it and missed it entirely. Only Gary Neville could do something like that.

Here is my theory behind the little tw*tbags actions:   (Key - C*nt = G. Neville, Tarantula head = Coke head.)

A few hours before the game, Tarantula head offered C*nt a little wager, knowing that C*nt hadn't emptied his sacks for a long time, due to his being an ugly scum poof, and all. Sure, Tarantula head always wiped the last crusty lumps of sh*t off his bum with the badge on C*nt's shirt before each game (at C*nt's request), but this was the first mention of any physical love.

The wager Tarantula head offered to his homosexual teammate C*nt was that if he (Tarantula noggin) scored the winning goal, he would happily accept an unnatural session of anal rodgering.

Secretly yearning for this, Tarantula head was pumped up, and raring to go. He snorted some of his beloved Cocaine, threatened Cisse with a bottom-breach if he scored, then set about scoring the winning goal.

Once the ball had hit the back of the net - C*nt was overjoyed. He sprinted over 40 yards to express his happiness, and kissed the badge that Tarantula head had prepared for him.

Right as we speak they are having a 69, with C*nt licking the congealed clagnuts out of Tarantula head's rectum.

While I hate the ugly tw.at and would love to see him banned and while I would love even more to believe Lando's superb account of what happened I have to agree with this I am afraid, he is United through and through and in todays game those players who love their own clubs are so rare it should not be knocked...well maybe a little in this cae :p

SKY DID show Neville's antics.  the other buzy cnut on the panel says that he does it every time they beat us and that it should be nothing to get worked up about.

As you were at the match why dont you report it to the cops. If a few others did this he will be in bother with the law.

As SKY did show I also think the FA will have no option but to charge him.

Unlike others I do not admire Neville for his "loyalty" to his club. Loyalty has nothing to do with it ( Does he carry on like a chimp in the zoo when they score against other clubs? I think not) Yesterday's actions were nothing more than hatred for Scousers.

Agree entirely and apologies to the forum for causing Lando to lose it big time , he's obviously not bothered taking his medication this weekend  :D

I suspect even Utd fans are a tad embarrassed of Neville who despite being a professional footballer and article writer in some rag I choose not to buy is allowed to act like a total numpty everytime his beloved Man U get one over the scousers :Oo:

When Players get booked for over celebrating with their OWN fans yet Neville is consistently and repeateadly allowed to incite the away support it makes you wonder where theFA's priorities lie.

people claim that to punish his kind of behaviour is sanatising the game but surely stopping over exhuberant players celebrating amoungst their own supporters is sanitisation !  :Oo:

People have cliamed that if Carrragher did something similar we would be applauding him , wrong !! Carra loves LFC much more more than he hates anyone else (Everton included) ...

Nevile is little short of a frustrated wannabee who has little respect within the game , is over rated and in the England squad cos of the shortage of available quality in his position.....

Bottom line here, I can't stand the player and what he represents both on and off the pitch, yesterday's actions and many that have gone before further compound the suspicion that he is a W ***** , thanks for clearing that up for us Gary

I agree with Daglish's sentiments.

I'm a bit different from many football fans in that I normally don't get wound up by opposing teams nor hate or despise opposition sides or players. I don't hate Chelsea, I don't hate Arsenal, I don't hate Man UTD and I don't hate Everton. I'm indifferent to Wayne Rooney and accept that he's a top player. I'm not a big fan of RVN the man, but I accept he is a top player.

Gary Neville is one of the few exceptions to my rule. He is a prat. He is the kind of chap that gets into scraps in local nightclubs because he has a face that invites punches. Even Roy Keane jokingly referred to Gary "deserving a few slaps" after the Vieira incident last year.

Fair is fair, if Arjen Robben is sent off for over celebrating with his OWN fans at Sunderland, then Gary Neville - at least - should have been sent off for taunting Liverpool fans. He is a public figure and he is under a duty to behave himself when in public, that just comes with the territory. Running up and taunting several thousand angry and hurt Liverpool fans (or indeed the fans of any club) is stupid and irresponsible. Tension at these games are bad enough as it is without some ugly prat stoking the flames. His actions could have tipped a bad situation over the edge and it has public order consequences.

Its not like he has not done this before, after all this is the man that once proclaimed to a men's magazine that he "hates scousers".

The FA need to deal with this. Players taunting oppositon fans is not on, it can lead to trouble in the stadium inside and out. If you can get sent off for such a trivial thing as over celebrating with your own fans then surely deliberately going out of your way to taunt opposition fans is a far more serious offence and deserves serious consequences.
