I think Steve Finnan is a far better right-back than the deminutive Raul.To be honest I don't think Raul can defend at all,he's better staying up-front.

Raul is a right back , always has been .

and whats wrong with buying small people ?

theres nothing wrong with them,

who do you suggest we buy then? Pavarotti ?
hed probably be quite good in goal actually ,

or maybe Bernard Manning as centre half?

he'd push their wingers wide,hey?

maybe your right TJ , small people are rubbish ,

instead of Finnan we should get a couple of Fattuns !

Dont fancy Lee Bowyer a bit over rated and a bit of a dickhead who would only bring more problems on the club.
If by the odd chance we could ever persuade Manchester City to allow Nicolas Anelka the chance to return to Anfield or Barry Ferguson of Blackburn Rovers would have been a great signing if we had joined the bidding for him while he was at Glasgow Rangers.

If you haven't heard of steve finnan then what are you doing on a liverpool fc website? steve finnan will be the best full back in the premiership and is allready a full international with over 25 caps! also i dont think we have a spare 60 milliion to prise raul away from the bernabeau (that is real madrids stadium in case you didnt know).

You sound like someone who should be on the man utd website!

The jury's still out on Finnan for me, my worry is that GH has told him he musn't cross the halfway line.....a fit Babbel in his treble-winning form would've got my vote for the rightback slot.

its a never ending circle you need big name players to be a big club but you cant attract them as you are not a big european club at the moment.
