The 24-year-old has struggled to make an impression with the Milan titans following his €8 million switch from Ajax last summer.
He was left out of Inter's squad for their UEFA Champions League qualifier with Basel last week - prompting speculation that he was on his way out of Giuseppe Meazza.
Former club Ajax were interested in taking him back on a loan basis, but Inter were not keen on that option.
Now Everton are understood to be ready to try and prise the flying winger from Inter in a permanent deal, with a €5 million offer being mooted.
However, the player's agent Chiel Dekker insists he has not received any official approaches from interested parties, and claimed his client was happy to stay in Milan.
"I have received several calls about it (the Everton speculation) from the media, but I haven't received any official offers," Dekker told skysports.com.
"Internazionale have not told me about anything, so I am not aware of any offers, not yet anyway.
"He only just moved to Internazionale last summer and so to move on so soon is not certain.
"He is ready to stay and try to fight for his place under (Inter boss, Roberto) Mancini."
Ha Ha Ha, this joke made my day
