And drummer phil. I love the american sound. yeah yeah yeahs, white stripes... even willy mason, bright eyes and rufus wainwright... theres a lot more rock n roll and plenty more soul
I'm a different generation must be.........
Queen my favourite......especially the early 70's stuff
Aerosmith
Whitesnake
Def Leppard
Foreigner
etc etc etc
god i hate all of those...
I do love the manchester sound...
The Stone Roses are my fav band of all time. Ian Brown is the coolest man alive. I guess my taste is exactly the opposite to yours
The Smiths as well are fucking awesome.
I like loads of music though...
Radiohead are another one of my favs, the modern day pink floyd imo.
Love the Beatles too, revolver is one ace album and everything they did progressed.
i like a bit of experimental dance as well, Aphex twin in particular at the mo.
your music taste is certainly the opposite to mine......
i like music with passion and oomph, sung with powerful vocals and guitar riffs to die for....(may,blackmore,page,etc)
not boring drawl sang by people who firstly cant sing for toffee and are way out of tune.
the bands i have always hated are.....
The Smiths
The Cure
Happy Mondays
Stone Roses
Oasis
New Order
Blur
Housemartins
and most of todays sh!te......i.e.
coldplay
saying that the music i hate more than anything and yes 10 times more than the above........is FECKING RAP
50
cent
snoop sh!tey dog
puff the bástard daddy
notorious BIG Dead bástard etc etc
i could easily die in piece knowing that all rap has been banned from the earth...
FECKING HATE IT WITH A PASSION And cant get to the tv or radio quick enough to turn over when its on.
