every 5 or 6 years there is one great album. from nirvana, to primal scream, to the first oasis album, to the first strokes album. Apart from those, there is nothing now that even resembles a truly great album

And drummer phil. I love the american sound. yeah yeah yeahs, white stripes... even willy mason, bright eyes and rufus wainwright... theres a lot more rock n roll and plenty more soul

Queen is a bit light for my taste. Hope you'll find ok I like ACDC for instance . Quite lover of The Doors too (not that I like Jim Morrison's ways though) if we look to older music.

if you listen to Queens first 3 albums

Queen 1
Queen II and
Sheer heart Attack..........they lean very much to the harder side of rock and if anything are very close to Led Zepplin in type of sound.

I like loads of rock ........i've seen AC/DC,Iron Maidon,Guns and Roses etc....

it was  the song that really launched Queen and made the top 10...........back in them days top 10 had to be half a million singles, where nowadays you only need 80,000 for a number 1.
personally its a track that isnt one of my favourites, but its ok.

god i hate all of those...

I do love the manchester sound...

The Stone Roses are my fav band of all time. Ian Brown is the coolest man alive. I guess my taste is exactly the opposite to yours

The Smiths as well are fucking awesome.

I like loads of music though...

Radiohead are another one of my favs, the modern day pink floyd imo.

Love the Beatles too, revolver is one ace album and everything they did progressed.

i like a bit of experimental dance as well, Aphex twin in particular at the mo.

I saw them live and they were really good. Have you listened to any frank black solo albums? My friend keeps telling me his solo stuff is as good as the pixies so i need to download some.

Rock helped me a lot to grow up. When I was 13 and 14 I was a tw*t I liked Rick Astley, can you believe that?  some mates of an old computer forum I visit called him Rick Ghastley. When I was 18 I started to listen rock and good music, and the red spots dissapeared from my face and good sense came in to my mind.

The only thing I find  funny about rock lovers, is that we always talk about music to other style likers, as if they had no clue at all about music.
