But liverpool deny it. Nothing is gonna be confirmed or denied until at least after the mancs match. And when we beat them Houllier will be all upbeat. Losing is not an option here!

I think the board have all ready made there minds up as to wether GH stays or goes, an I hope they have made the right decision.  Yep get rid off him, the reason why they have denied the maurinho rumors is because they dont wnat to rock the ship while its still in the ocean.

GH days as manager are running out, Id like to say thanks to him for trying his best.  No one can dout that he loves this club and that he's give his all.  But unfortunatly his all wasnt enough.

I agree, this game today is a massive game for the club and Houllier as a Liverpool manager!

Personally i dont think Houllier should stay, win or not. I appreciate what hes done, what hes been through and everything, but we need a fresh approach for next season. Its not really personal, we just need a change. Of course if we win 5-0 or more i'll change my mind ;)

Whether we win or lose today I feel that Houllier should leave. Although should we win today and win the rest of the matches of the season parry will be pleased Hoillier stays.

I HOPE he resigns I respect the man and dont want him to be sacked. If he resigns he will do the honorable thing and leave on a high. But if he gets fired it will be sad for him and his fans.

But if firing him is the only way then so be it either way there should be new person in charge for next season.

I would like to see Houllier walk away from Liverpool having resigned rather than be sacked.  Though it may not seem like it but he has done a very good job for Liverpool based on where we were when he took over, I believe we are a lot better now, and we can always look at 2001 and think what could have been.  I think it would be great if Houllier could guide us to fourth spot and then leave as he would be leaving on a good note rather than a bad one.

If liverpool were to get mourino, it should be this summer. If the board want to wait until next season, he might be off to real madrid (i don't think their current manager will spared....)

It's not about being foreign or British or whoever.

We want the best man for the job and I don't care if he comes from Mars myself.

Mourinho has worked wonders at Porto and at the moment, I can't think of anyone better to take us forward because Houllier has taken us as far as he can.

There is nothing wrong with Jose Mourinho, he is one of best coaches in Europe.
If we don't get Martin O'Neill, then Liverpool should go for Jose Mourinho, because I think what the present bunch of Liverpool players need is a Man Motivator in charge, that is my opinion.
Mourinho has done a great job at Porto and the guy reminds me of Martin O'Neill with the way he reacts on the side of the pitch and he also seems to get a lot of his players, yes, I would be very happy with him, if Martin O'Neill was not available.
