PS. I would have to ask you all to argue whether Michael Shields is innocent in the respective threads. Too much offtopic (especially when combined with curses) only proves for the lack of brain or vocabulary.

Michael Shields didn't attempt to murder anyone, another man has already confessed that he is the true criminal. Therefore Michael Shields is innocent, at the time of the attack he was in his hotel room and there are witnesses that have verified that.

I'm new here and know that after this post I probably won't be welcomed very friendly but still - there is a translation from http://www.vcourts.org/motivi.htm which is the official Varna's court statement:

During his night shift 30.05.2005 the witness Dilov after 00:00 h witnessed the noisy behaviour of many britains from the same group (the hotell staff had problems with them previous day). Despite the remarks from the hotel staff they continued with noisy singing, breaking glasses and going perpetually up and down the floors. Between 02:00-04:00 h the Witness Dilov recognised Michael Shields in this group who was playing with the elevator while beeing drunk and was trying to enter the elevators just before they close their doors. Dilov sent Radev to warn M.Shields to stop playing with the elevators, after that M SHields went to reception and started screaming and making unpleasent remarks. After 15 min MShields parted the Hotel.

On 30.05.2005 arround 5:00 am Shields and Wilson were in front of the disco club "Bonkers" together with Thompson and some other people. They were screaming, throwing rocks, bottles and glasses between the cars and passing people. They were going into direction from hotel "Shipka" to hotel "Vladislav" and going back. This group have been spotted by (witnesses) Dimitar Donchev, Radoslav Bonzukov, Andrey Diankov who were at pizza place "El Captain", and the taxi drivers Wladimir Artuan and Milcho Dachev. the noise coming for the group of Micheal have been recognised (heard?) by people from the fast food restaurant "Big Bens"

I will not translate this one fully (unless you need it badly as its quite big), but its saying that arorund 5:00 am Thompson and Wilson who looked very drunk were maikng problems in "Big Bens" restaurant. They have been recognized by the witnesses Georgiev, Krumova, Skacov, Jordanov, Todorov and Ivanov.

Wilson and Tompson parted the restaurant to join their friends and after that they returned with Shields
The three of them have been recognized by the witnesses Artunian, Bonzukov, Dianov and Donchev. At the same time the witness Georgiev went outside to see whats going on and his colelgues Skackov and Jordanov heard that he was telling the British guys to stop making problems. At this moment (Georgiev) saw Shields infront of him who hited him with hand (fist)

The act of shields have been recognised by the witnesses Ivanonv and Bonzuko. Wilson and Thompson joined Shields and started hitting Georgiev and he fall to the ground, and then continued kicking him.
Then Shields go away for a while and arround the restaurant he found a rock (25-27cm and arround 3.7 kg heavy). He took it by 2 hands and running he got back at Wilson and Thonpson. Approaching with fierce look he lifted the rock above the head of Georgiev. At this moment the witness Krumova who were outside the restaurant started screaming. Shields was excited and cruel (? im not 100% sure if these are the exact words) and he slammed the rock over the head of the fallen Georgiev. Shields act have been recognised by Krumova, Jordanov, Dachev, Artunian. Bomzukov, Diankov, Donchev, Katrandjiev, Serjio Todorov. After the hit in the head the stone jumped and fall over the alley near the restaurant....
