Nor me, but thats what the blag wicked whispers column in the Mirror says.

Its about as accurate as Stevie Wonder playing darts though.

I have to disagree with you on that comment. I think defoe would get more 1st team football at Anfield. At Spurs he plays 2nd fiddle to Keane (who is Jol's #1 in my opinion) and Mido. Mido is a class player and offers the aerial threat (like Crouchy does for us). Defoe not only offers the pace of Cisse but also the composure to bring others into the game and is a far better finisher than Cisse. Morientes and Crouch don't offer too much in terms of pace up front...

Don't get me wrong here - I think Cisse is a class player but I think Defoe would fit right into the Liverpool team at the moment.  :;):

Teenage sensation Theo Walcott has gone on record admitting that he's a Liverpool fan.

That's no secret of course because as previously reported on KOPTALK.COM, Walcott's immediate family are Reds!

Liverpool have already tabled an offer for the 16-year-old Southampton ace but that was immediately turned down.

Although the player is valued highly, Liverpool's bid was believed to be around the £3million mark which suggests to us that they know that they don't have to enter a bidding war to secure his services.

No matter how much money another club offers, if Walcott want a move to Anfield, he can dig his heels in and sit tight - something Michael Owen didn't do in the summer.

Asked who he supported as a boy [ED: He's a boy now surely lol!], Walcott said: "I was a Liverpool fan because dad followed them.

"I wasn't alive during the goldern era but I enjoyed watching the likes of Michael Owen, Robbie Fowler and Steve McManaman.

"When Liverpool won the Champions League, I went mad. I was shouting so loud I think I woke up the entire village!"

That's him in the bag then once Southampton agree to release him and once his dad believes it's time for him to move up a rung on the ladder.

From SkySports

Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez is looking to his former club Valencia for new faces with Brazilian defender Fabio Aurelio his target.

The South American's current contract at The Mestalla expires at the end of June and he is now able to discuss a move away from the club.

Valencia chiefs will hold last-ditch talks with Aurelio next week aimed at tying him to a new deal, but they have so far refused to meet his wage demands.

Reds boss Benitez is keen to build on his squad during the transfer window, and the 26-year-old could be the next on his list.

The Brazilian, who operates at left back or in midfield, is also being looked at by Real Madrid and Barcelona but he has fond memories of Benitez from his days in charge at Valencia.

Benitez has already bolstered his defence by signing Jan Kromkamp, and Danish centre half Daniel Agger is also expected to arrive at Anfield.

Benitez still wants more options down the left, especially with Chilean winger Mark Gonzalez's work permit problems, and Aurelio would prove tough competition for John Arne Riise and Harry Kewell.

Any move for Aurelio could prove to be the end for Djimi Traore, however, with the Frenchman probably being surplus to requirements with Stephen Warnock also able to play at left back.

I love the transfer window. Gives me something to do at work!!

Whereas I delighted to see us so active in the European market I am also delighted that we have potentially unearthed another homegrown talent in Paul Anderson from Hull City. Don't know anything about him but he must be highly rated if we move for him at 17 years old and John Welsh is going in the other direction!!

i'm also impressed because Rafa seems to be picking up English youth players on the quiet
