your team selection was spot on, but in 1965 there were no such thing as subs, a first reserve was on the team sheet but could not take part in the match once it had started.But he still received a winners medal, the first reserve in the 1965 cup final was a guy called Phill Chisnall who transfered from man utd that year, but he only played a handful of games.thanks for your reply well done! :;):

Its very easy to appear smartarsed when you have the official Liverpool history opened up in front of you, kenco!

Its also a bit pointless asking these questions given that 99% of the time you will get the answer on Google within 5 minutes!
