African-Americans are usually born in America. The same with Irish Americans, or Italian Americans. But I wasn't born in America, I was born and raised in Europe. Stu knows this because the thick cunt asked me where I was from.

If you were born and raised in England, and decide to leave in Ireland for a couple of years you don't become an English Irishman do you?

Where or what do you think those term's originated from?

Anyway, I'm not getting involved in your ans Stu little bitch fight, too many handbag's swinging for me. I was just trying to enlighten the mood.  :D

The term doesn't apply to me, and Shit knows it because he asked me about it.

The fact that Defoe is a decent striker is a moot point.Personally,id prefer his teamate Keane. He`s a more prolific scorer at club and international level,he`s stronger on the ball, and he proved playing alongside Niall Quinn that he can work with a big man(Crouch?).Defoe is a decent player but not at Keane`s level, ask any Spurs fan and they`ll probably agree.Ive seen him play a couple of times but i havent seen anything to justify a 10million transfer fee.The fact he`s English is irrelevant and shouldnt add a penny to his value.Anyone remember a Scot called Daglish and a Welshman called Rush? We shouldnt get ripped off just cos a player is English.

Quote (A.B.@Jan. 15 2006,20:16)
I think my statement is clear. I'm not talking about how good a partnership one of them would form with another striker, I'm simply talking about their overall ability. Morientes may have had an erratic career here with us, but to me he's a better player than Defoe.

As Lando posted earlier, last season in January if you had asked people which you would had wanted between Morientes or Defoe most would have said Morientes.

Morientes still posses the ability he had at Zaragoza and Madrid. To me he's a better overall player, though it's difficult to compare the two. He may not have pace, but pace doesn't make a player.

There's nothing that will change my mind, it's my opinion and I'm rightfully sticking to it.

I guess its personal preference.  I personally will rate Morientes on his performances in a Liverpool shirt, whereas it seems that you are willing to to take his past achievements over his current form.  Like I said, I am not anti Morientes, I think he still has a lot to offer us, (although I think Dean Ashton could do the job better) but I would be lying if I didn't admit that I have been deeply disappointed with his form to date.  I think we will have to agree to disagree on this one A.B.

to be fair, I haven't seen anyone in the premiership do a roly poly as good as Keane, although his cartwheels leave a lot to be desired
