weren't we going to sign owen in the summer transfer window and thats why we ofloaded baros to pay/make way for him,
we still only have 3 out and out strikers and anelka would be a valuble addition to make the fourth,
i know we have pongolle and mellor but would you put them in the same class as anelka (also it looks like we could be shipping both of them out on loan) again only according to paper and site reports.
if rumours/newspaper reports are to believed he never wanted to leave liverpool it was his brother(agent) who priced us out of the market, I know the midfield are doing a fantastic job at scoring

but can we afford to have just 3 remember last years injury list..................hmmmmmmmmmm
