Anyone comparing this to Istanbul needs their head reading.

Coming from 3 - 0 against Milan is an achievment.

from 3-1 at Luton is a bit of a joke really. Its embarrassing that they put 3 past us - when did that last happen?

Good match to watch, i guess rafa would be furious that we let 3 goals in to a championship side. I hope to see an improvement against spurs next week, ill never live that down since my brother is a spurs fan.

Thought cisse looked bright but lacked a good first touch, Alonso and finnan as allways working hard, Gerrard was just brilliance. The introduction of Pongolle swung it though.

My sentiments exactly, although we did win so I guess I can't complain too much. Could had scored a bit more with all the chances we had later on.

I think motm is between Gerrard, Sinama and Finnan (the only of the back four who performed).
