Are liverpool far behind chelsea

TOO ALL
IN MY HUMBLE OPINION LIVERPOOL ARE LACKING ONE WORLD CLASS CENTRE HALF AND ONE LEFT SIDED WINGER BEHIND CHELSEA. THERE IS NODOUBT IN MY MIND IF A SERIOUS INJURY TOO EITHER JOHN TERRY OR FRANK LAMPARD ,THEN CHELSEA WOULD BE IN TROUBLE. THEY HAVE AT LEAST GOT 7 POINTS THIS SEASON FROM DEFLECTED GOALS. I KNOW YOU MAKE YOUR OWN LUCK BUT CHELSEA S IS RUNNING OUT

Carra, Hyypia are World Class Centre Backs. We have Kewell, Zenden, Gonzo (hopefully) and Riise as left sided wingers. How is that lacking. We have signed the new dutch boy, time will tell, and we now have cover. We have too much cover for the left side, and no cover for right side. What is your point? Do you know your LFC team well enough to make a statement like this?

Terry injured would prove more serious to Chelsea than a Lampard injury. They have enough class covering the midfield than defence.

i`d leave kewell on the left to be honest eric, his form has been very good up to now and getting better by the game, in fact to the extent he was given the man of the match award at bolton by the echo, and was in the running for the accolade the game before against west brom.
if he suffers a loss in form riise can do a job on the left.
centre back, we probably do need cover but the defence is as good as i`ve seen a liverpool defence since the hansen / lawrenson days.
i`d pick up a right winger and a centre half in the january window if it was up to me.
regarding chelsea, i agree with you, they have a deep squad but terry to them as a leader, and one who rally`s the team when the chips are down, is the one player who holds it all together imo. if they lost him to an injury it would get interesting.
not that i`d wish an injury on any player though, and anyway, in my book if your gonna win something do it properly otherwise victory is just a hollow word.

The back bone of Chelsea is John Terry, Fat Frank, and Joe Cole, out of all the money that MourEGO has spent not one of the new additions are as good as these 3.
If these 3 got injured I expect Chelsea would colapse like dominos, incidently MaurEGO sent Terry and Lampard and there wives off to Dubia for a week after the West Ham game ???
Isnt it great to have such luxuries to be able to do such a thing hey?
Our lads got 2 days off after the busy xmas period, and they travelled to and frow from Japan.

Maureen called Joe Cole for everything the other day saying he had one more chance and that he was show boating, watching him recently he has a new release of life and is playing stuff weve never seen from him.
if I was him Id tell chelsea to feck off after them comments but hey its all about the wonga at the end of the day.

Oh and BTW Ian Wright you need shooting for ill advising your son to go there, what a waste of talent 21 million and stuck on the bench and probably wont even play in the WC.
Nice one Ian.

You're not the only one thinking this is suspicious. No doubt one of the first of many visitors from Man UTD forums to come here after some of our lads were over there.

Remember what happened with Bluekipper a year or so ago? We don't want a repeat.

If he is a manc, he is very dissilutioned that signing 2 defenders is the answer to there problems, they need a new midfield, but hey its good to see them wasting money on positions that dont require filling :D

indeed, maybe they'll all disappear in may when we pip them to runners up just like the leeds lads miraculously disappeared into the ether the minute they got relegated

Nice one Ian.

i think wright phillips, off the back of some decent england cameo`s and being hyped as being the next great thing by some newspapers went to chelsea thinking he would oust either robben, cole or duff out the side without much problem.
i think he started pretty brightly but he made that kamakaze tackle in the everton game to give away a pen and since then he`s fell out of favour with mourinho.
he`ll just do a parker, mope around the squad for a year or so and then go somewhere else with nothing to show but a fat wallet.
i think the biggest thing out of all this is that in the future chelsea might struggle to attract ambitious players who dont fancy a long stint on the bench.

We are only lacking in a world class right winger.

We only need a back up to our already world class central partenership.

Ian Wright did say he advised him to go to Chelsea he also said he would have done the same had that kind of money been offered to him.

Whats SWP worth at the most maybe 12 million? But such a waste of talent sitting warming a friggen bench, England having the best bunch of players they've ever had are about to enter the WC, allbeit with a sh.it manager.

SWP is not going to get a chance, he could have left City and came to us, the gooners or the mancs with a nice wage every week.

That kid was ill advised and the sooner the whole Chelsea set up falls away at the seems the better it will be for everyone, not one team can afford to lose more than 2 games a season cause of them wheres the competition?

Chelsea fans mustnt be fussy knowing that their team are gona win practically every game they play, where the excitement in that?

As far as Im concerned they are the most boring team to watch around, considering the amount of money they've spent, surely with that many top class players they should be playing the free flowing passing game, a sort Arsenal of the past, Barca, Brazil.

But no what do you get?
A Terry header, a Lampard deflected goal or lump it up to Dogbreath.
Friggen cr@p.

Give me our Rafa's Red men any day, cause on current form we are playing the best football in the prem.

In terms of our game these days I don't think we are behind chelsea. We are good and our guys show the right mentality to win. To me Chelsea is like Champion Manager Game where you cheat with unlimited budget then u go out to get all the players in the world. Just imagine, u can replace all 11 without weakening the team badly. Whereas in our case, if we change 4-5 players then probably we don't have the level that we are with our first eleven....
