right feckers, we've just moved forward into a new year but what if we could actually go back in time? what if we were dr who but unencumbered by by the geological jawline of billie piper? i'd be interested to know when (if at all) we'd all go back to in the past. let's not get silly and go all the way back to 5000 years ago or when spurs were a good team or anything, let's keep it within our lifetimes.....

personally i'd go back to 1989, the first year i left home - went out with maxine owen, the fittest girl our school had ever seen,  passed my a-levels at a canter, enjoyed a heatwave summer sitting on my @rse on the beach doing f*ck all, had a fantastic holiday in spain and rekindled a love affair from the year before with a truly utterly dreamy spanish girl (still in touch now, ssshh don't tell the missus :Oo:) and sucked in the whole change in the culture of british clubbing from kebab-shop fight to loved-up silliness. what a great f*ckin year, full of the joys of young adulthood totally untouched by the sh*te that is real life, absolutely brilliant   :buttrock

so when would you bunch of reprobates and ne'r do wells go back to and why? let's have yer stories....

27 May 1994 - the day I got married.  Not to change it - but just to relive it so I could remember what happened.  My wife keeps talking about this and that which happened on the day - but I'm buggered if I can remember any of it!  Of course, like the dutiful husband, I say "Of yes dear, you're dress was beautiful" and 'important' things like that!  All I can remember was that the food was brilliant, and I got ratfaced!

not a bad shout hawky, i decided not to have a video of my wedding day but with hindsight it was just pure quality, it was a non-denominational ceremony in central park in new york and would love to be able to re-live it (but not the part of nearly getting shot by e new york prostitute at 4.30am the night before  but that's another story:D )

First stop would be back to being 12/13 when all i cared about was football, getting up to no good around the neighbourhood with me mates, zero responsibilities, no hangovers! and girls couldn't :censored: me off back then!

Second stop would be aged 19 when all i cared about was football, bunking college, getting stoned and getting up to no-good with me mates + hangovers were a walk in the park back then!

Last stop would be 2000/01 so i could go back to life living in a lads pad with me Liverpool crazy flat mate, before i was with the current love of me life and before i started working as a teacher + i could relive the treble season all over again!

I take it you only offered her 5% of the takings then, Wooley? It's a good job you learn quickly!!!!!  :D

I'd have to say 2000, as I had no worries, a rather foxy bird and a brilliant job. (I've got another, slightly less foxy bird now, and a very similar, but not as good job!!!!!)

Plus I could go back and make a move on the only girl I've ever been truely besotted with.  :eyebrow
