Alou diarra - Is linked to arsenal

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Alou Diarra? I did not even know that he is a Liverpool player.
He is apparently the first payer Gerrard Houlier signed in 2002 and loaned to other teams. A reject by Liverpool

Arsenal made a bid of 5 mil pounds for this Frenchman. Wenger describes him as the new Patrick Viera.

Has anyone seen him play?

Anyway let him go.... at least it will stand as a good revenue for us.

I think there was an undisclosed fee involved.

Saw him play for France once or twice. Not the worst player in the world but from what I saw of him, he's a much better player than Diao but probably not as good as Sissoko.

Remind me never to listen to you about anything to do with LFC.

Alou Diarra was bought from Bayern Munich in 2002 and immediatley loaned out to various French top flight clubs before settling at Lens two years ago. Last summer he moved permanently to Lens.

I think we got about 2-3million out of him supposedly, it wasn't a bad bit of business actually, looks like Arsenal are clutching at straws now, Veira would have stayed with them if they showed him some support, they weren't too bothered and now they're feckd, stupid bsatards haha.

If Wenger has said that he's the next Viera, he's only said it to appease the fans, just in case he turns out to be cr*p

it gets a bit confusing keeping up with all the :censored: frenchmen we signed diouf, diao, diomede, diarra
one of them had dreadlocks and had a good run in the side on the wing without doing much - i think that was diomede
its hard to remember which one was the new so and so as well......which one was the new platini, batiston, tigana, pele etc etc
