Always believed that harry could get back on form again albeit he may never get back to how he was but he can still do the job for us and hes shown us a lot over the past few games

Still not convinced. A wide player needs to have the ability to get pass people out wide and put in quality crosses, at least a cpuple of times on each half in every game.

Kewell is showing improvement but he is nowhere near perfroming as a wide player that we so desperately need.

have you never seen beckham play? i think that kewell is still improving with every game and with a little more luck could have had a couple of goals already this season. he has the class to still reach double figures although i don't like to see him play as a striker.

Kewell has taken a hammering on here for a very good reason ! we all thought he was gonna a white john barns

yesterday against west brom he looked the player we all wanted ..BUT he has a long way to go to be back in every one good books on here .. it is up to him to prove that he loves the club etc etc etc

by the way i have never really been a cisse fan but the lad looks sharp as a rasor and worked well with crouchy yesterday

kewells playing well, in fact very well. he gives us natural width on the left and is comfortable going inside or towards the bye line as opposed to someone like riise who always comes infield. any decent passing move we seem to put together recently seems to have kewell playing a part in it too.

Well, I certainly wouldn't drop him at the minute, and I've not been able to say that for nearly two years.

Good luck to him - he has, to be fair, had an evil time with injuries, and it's good to see his appetite back.

Give the kid a break, he was injured!! He doesnt have anything to prove, hese a flashy player and if he didnt have anything to show Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal, Man U all wouldnt of wanted to sign him.

As soon as he came to liverpool he scored goals played great, then he gets an injury, what the :censored: do u expect to do? of course hese not gna be playing, or playing at his best. Now that hes over his problems hes showing his class again.

He shit out of TWO cup finals, he's scored 1 goal since January two years ago and he's generally been piss poor when he's played.

He's earning a "break" as you so politely put it, last year i'd av given him a "break" only not in the way you'd like. Unlike some on here gordy, i attend games (not as often as i used to) and i follow the team and support them, i still by them through thick and thin and i'm certainly not fickle. I do however EXPECT effort at least.

As for the injury excuses, don't give me that crap. If he's not fit to play he shouldn't play, if he's fit he puts 100% in, its that simple.

Kewell is earning a chance. If his performances dip at all and the effort level does, he's got to go. He's been given about 4 or 5 chances.

I am a little surprised by Kewell's performances lately. I had written him off and I was really annoyed by his work rate, or lack of that is.

To be fair Kewell has had his problems. His many injuries has made him look poor because he has almost never played at 100% match fitness. I don't think he is 100% fit yet but he is getting there. If he can recapture his 2001 form we will have a real dangerman on our left.

All this is down to Rafa and his highly competent staff of trainers and physios. Just look at how little injuries we have had of late. It is definately a side product of having competent people doing the training and physio bit, but also having a competetive squad so we can rest fatigued players and players with minor injuries and knocks. Just look at newcastle you'll see how many injuries you'll get when you have incompetent people all over the place.

I'll have to hold my hands up and say that I have been, over the last year, one of Kewell's biggest haters. And it is hard for anyone to argue that he wasn't rubbish. But he has been pretty fantastic recently and maybe we will actually get something like the Kewell of Leeds. I hope we do.
