I think we could find better quality players. Why settle for average players with a hint of good upside when you have the ability to sign better players. Keep in mind we are Euro champs we are not desperate for castoffs.

Every club wanted to sign world class players . Who doesn't ? But these players are damn expensive.

No chance in signing these two, and to be honest just don't think they are good enough. Pennent earlier in the season may be but not now where would he improve our team, would he do a better job than garcia not really. We want two class players if it takes 10m plus for each of them so be it.We are a team that has turned the corner.In rafa we trust.........................

pennant cause great discomfort to our defence when we met birmingham last time. he beat people and running zig-zag at our defender ( troare or risse, i can't remember ) and put a decent cross when he can. he's good.

id rather have upson than pennant. we dont need pennant. we do need a defender. and id prefer a young english defender to play alongside carragher for the next 5-10 years.

You have a different answer. Most of ppl out there wants pennant but you only want upson. I said that both of these players are good players but right now they are in the wrong team,they are english, they are cheap maybe we can get then less than 7m and they can play for CL.
