I was wondering whether to get freeview or not. I've heard mixed comments about it and was wondering what you guys think of it if you've got it or whatever.

any opinions appreciated :)

We've got freeview in two rooms.  It's pretty good in that it gives you a few extra channels free of charge.

Two music channels
Two kids channels (soon to be three I believe)
Sky Sports News (including Soccer Saturday & Soccer Special)
Sky News
BBC1-4
ITV1-4
E4, More4

I wish we could get Live Premiership footy matches though.  We worked out we were paying £40/month for Sky and only watching four matches and the odd other program.  So it was basically £10/match!

It all boils down to what you want to watch.

:suspect:

The trouble with freeview is you need a digital aerial. (Or a dish).

The trouble with freeview is that the channels :censored:. I guess its ok though as you don't pay anything after you've bought the box.  :D
