Just wondering if the linesman on the close side of the pitch was watching the game or The Sao Paulo players sticking their hands up to call offside, he was at least 3m behind the play on every run forward so how can he call it offside. The referee was an absolute disgrace, the guy who tried ending Stevie G's career with that atrocious tackle should have been sent off. And Pongo's goal was onside and Sao Paulo's goal was at leat a metre offside, if not more. I think the linesman was part Brazillian.

Go back to Brazil and exterminate some more unsuspecting indians  fecking cheaters

Why was Hyppia´s goal disallowed? Was the ball over the shortline?

Great São Paulo.

Sao Paulo were lucky.

Lucky that the Reds were a bit off that night.
Lucky that the referee was incompetant (and Amercian).
Lucky that the assistant referee was incompetant.
Lucky that Hyppia and Warnock were out of position for that one lapse.
Lucky that Crouch wasn't on earlier.

Their goal was onside - it was the only good thing they did all match.

(Apart from winning 11 Oscar's for their acting.)

Pongolle's goal should have counted, and possibly Hyypia's. (But why expect a bunch of tw*t paid-off officials to give us any decisions?)
