the commentator in the states keeps talking about what a large contingent of SP fans travelled, but everytime they show them on the screen, 3/4 of them are japanese.

They must have brought over a truckload of shirts to sell.......:)

Probably should be 1-1, Sao Paulo were excellent at times though, I think some of us underestimated how good a side they are. Amoroso is still a class act, and they have a lot of players who'd cut it in the top European leagues no worries like Cicinho, Mineiro, Lugano, Junior, Danilo.

We settled down and looked the better side in the last 15 mins or so of that half, pretty even contest and we're creating enough chances to get back into it.

For me I agree that Cisse should be on, were dying for some pace up front, I'd sub Kewell, also bring on Riise for Warnock, then see how Nando goes, if he isn't effective in the first 15 then get big Crouchy on for him. :;):

Warnock isn't coping well with Cicinho. He looks a class act, full of pace. You can see where the Cafu comparisons come from. They have some other good players as well - some good passing and they've opened up our defence a few times. We can definitely get back into this though.
