great result yesterday, and a good draw today. The world champions say "bring on Benfica"
the bayern vs AC match is going to be amazing, chelsea got the best draw of the batch to this little club called barcalona  :D. It will be a good round of 16, and benfica are a good club with good players. It will be a tough draw. The problem is they have RED flowing through their bodies

What's the reason? Thought it was fully decided and the new stadium under construction... What's the general feeling of Liverpool fans about having a new stadium (or not). Willing to move to a new/better/bigger stadium or to stay in the legendary Anfield where LFC lived so many historical moments. Benfica also built a new stadium recently. In the beggining most fans (me included) thought we shouldn't move from our historical stadium but soon everyone (me included) was for the new stadium...


The cost of the stadium has increased more than the club thought it would, and we don't have an investor that could help us fund the stadium. If we don't make a decision by February I believe, there will be no stadium.

2-1 for Benfica at Anfield? I respect all of our opponents whoever they may be but you're taking a p1ss by thinking that we'll go down at Anfield. Let's not forget who lost at that very stadium [Juventus,Chelsea].

You haven't seen an atmosphere as good as Anfields. Just ask Del Piero of Juventus who had nightmares [admited it himself] after the game.

I don't think it will be easy as some suggest but we've faced tougher oppositions before. Beating Man Utd means nothing, they don't know that however and seem to think that because they've beat a rather sh1t Man Utd team [Fletcher,Smith in the midfield, no wonder they lost] that they can walk over us.

To be honest, Simao is overpriced at the moment. 12 million is too much and he was never our first choice for the RM in the first place.

It's an eagle, each game well most of the time i think they have this eagle sittin in the stadium, you'll see it when we play them.

over priced yeah i guess but if he was english he would be worth at least 15-20 mil pounds!
