Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby zarababe » Fri Dec 16, 2005 7:49 pm

continual trading insults, why? It's sad that such a great time for us all degenerates in to a 'our society is better than yours' argument.

Get on with football debate ppl

According to the technology of (I think it's Striker) the game, mid nineties, Allejo must be a mommy now. :D

Most important thing is to avoid sustaining any unneccessary injuries that might seriously hinder our domestic progress, although we should still be vying for the World Champion Title by fielding a strong side. Also, it is essential that we maintain our clean sheet record too and that fielding a relatively weaker side would not make the grade against the strongest team in South America.

If Rafa opts to start with this starting eleven or whatnot, I would expect us to win 2-0, and that's making it the 12th clean sheet in a row.

I was taking a look about your clean sheet record:
29/10 - Liverpool 2X0 West Ham - Liga
01/11 - Liverpool 3X0 Anderlecht - Champions
05/11 - Aston Villa 0X2 Liverpool - Liga
19/11 - Liverpool 3X0 Porthsmouth - Liga
23/11 - Liverpool 0X0 Betis - Champions
26/11 - Manchester City 0X1 Liverpool - Liga
30/11 - Sunderland 0X2 Liverpool- Liga
03/12 Liverpool 3X0 Wingan Atl.- Liga
06/12 - Chelsea 0X0 Liverpool - Champions
10/12 - Middlesbrough 0X2 Liverpool - Liga
15/12 - Saprissa 0X3 Liverpool
None of them, except Chelsea and (maybe) MU are as good as TRICOLOR.
NOW I´m more confident.
GO São Paulo!!!

How can you possibly tell that?
The facts are these:
LFC would like to win the WCC, but we won't slit our throats if we don't. We won't even get angry or annoyed.

You, however, see this tournament as a shop-window for your players. The good ones will go to Europe, the shoddy ones will stay in Sao Paulo and compete for this trophy again next year.
Get real before Sunday, which will be your last day of posting. You deserve to lose, purely because you are being such a cocky piece of cack.

If you think your team would hack playing the teams we have played without losing a goal, or a match, you are seriously mistaken pal.
Grow up before you humiliate yourself further.

Hey man...why are you so angry?
Why you´ve made so many insults?
Here in Brazil now is almost 6:00 PM, good and clean sunny weather, friday, a lot of beautiful chicks & I´m going to a "happy hour" with my friends, drink some cold beers, eat some good "portions", so I´m not stressed as you are, mate.
If you feel insulted by my comments...sorry...no problem. But, as you have your opinions, I have mine.
But I will not chide you.
Peace! And love! As John Lennon said: "imagine all the people, living in peace." That´s what I want Lando Griffin. And I want post again, even after sunday, no matter the result of the game, because I want to make friends all over the world! As I have a lot of friends from USA, Hawaii, Portugal, Australia.
And you´re invited to came here, in Brazil, too!
Rgds.

About the game, I think it will be great.

Gerrard is awesome and Garcia is extremely dangerous.
Reina is a great goalkeeper and Carragher is very hard!

Hyypia appears to me very slowly and I think we should use this to advance for the goal. Amoroso is fast.

Your defensive system is in line and this should be great for us.

To hand your attack we´ll probably put Mineiro to be the shadow of Gerrard and Lugano and Fabão will take care of Morientes and Garcia. Josué will help them.

Cicinho advancing in the right side and Junior in the left should feed our forwards. The same to Danilo.

My prediction:

São Paulo 3 - 1 Liverpool.

to be honest i think you will struggle to score let alone score 3. Also your kepper looks apauling and im not sure about your defence, so i think we will score more than once. I expect are midfield to control the game and us to do a proffesional job, win the competition and get back to england hopefully without injury for more important matters.

3 - 0 liverpool.

Sorry mate...I completely desagree with you...
There´s two reasons that brazillians or south americans players are playing in Europe:
1) As you may know, you (Europe) have more money than us (South America).
2) As you may know too, we have much more better players than you
And Liverpool will be the best team in the world IF it beats Sao Paulo on sunday. Then OK.
We´ll see...
Sunday will be the day!
GO TRICOLOR!!![/quote]
Do you know our closest rivals are taking the p1ss out of us, Man United and Everton saying you are playing against some no mark team ??? .
You lot are really getting worked up over this trophey TBH I would have prefered us to stay in Liverpool and concentrate on the premiership.
But it seems its like winning the world cup to some of you.
We have won much bigger tropheys in the past this one is NOT important to our club.
It will be nice to add to our collection but it is not a must.
Sebb Blatter wants it to be a big tournement but we have bigger fish to fry so to speak.
We havent flew half way around the world to come back empty handed.
And I think some of you lot are disrespecting our great club.
Liverpool F.C. are famous. Your club is not famous in Europe but Brasil are World Champions.
I think some of you think this game is Liverpool F.C. against Brasil :glare:
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.
